Emily did an incredible job capturing our wedding day (and our engagement photos too!). From Day 1 of working with Emily it was clear she was truly invested in getting to know us as a couple. She was there every step of the way to help with planning to make sure that our wedding day went smoothly and that we maximized time for photos as well as getting to actually enjoy our wedding! She was game for all of our ideas and photo locations, going the extra mile to help scout out good backdrops to get the perfect lake and mountain vibes we wanted. Every single photo is worthy of framing which is pretty rare, but goes to show how talented Emily is and how hard she works in editing to get you a final product to be proud of. 10000/10, absolutely recommend choosing Emily for your wedding/engagement/family photos!

Emily Watkins is truly the best! She is incredibly talented, professional, and such a joy to work with. I’ve been using her for years, and she never disappoints. She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which makes the whole experience fun and stress-free.

One of the things that impressed me most was her turnaround time. We received over 70 beautiful sneak peek photos the very next day after our wedding, which was so special because we got to relive the day right away. Then, less than two months later, she delivered our full gallery of over 700 stunning photos!

Every single picture is beautiful, and she captured every emotion and detail perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos, and I can’t recommend Emily enough. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, kind, organized, and delivers amazing work, she’s the one!

For us, there was simply no one else who could photograph our wedding! Emily is a professional through and through. She makes you feel at ease and comfortable from the moment she meets you. We had done a couples session with her before & consider her a great friend. Our entire bridal party loved her and the sneak peeks took our breath away. This is not a photographer who will get a couple shots and be done with it. She is taking pictures of absolutely everything, catching the best moments of the entire day and using her gorgeous editing style to make them even better. You need to hire Emily, she will go above and beyond whatever your wildest expectations are and you will LOVE the results.

Emily was the wedding photographer of my DREAMS!! Not only does she take the most stunning photos but she is the absolute sweetest soul. From our first phone call together we instantly clicked. Our first shoot together was our engagement photos and she captured our vibe and aesthetic exactly as I imagined. She has the best eye and I couldn’t be happier with how our wedding memories turned out. She was so attentive and responsive throughout the whole process she made the day sooo stress free. I seriously couldn’t recommend her enough!!!!

We hired Emily for our fall wedding in the Adirondacks in New York. We also had a separate engagement shoot with her as part of that the day before our wedding.

I'll start by getting straight to the point- Emily was the perfect photographer for our wedding and for us. If I thought it was at all wise I would put my phone number on here and just say call me and I'll tell you why you should hire her. Her photography speaks for itself and she captured more perfect, hang-on-the-wall, share-with-your-kids-and-grandkids, moments than I ever thought we'd get. The main thing for me was that almost from the outset it didn't seem like we found a photographer it felt like we just had a really close friend we'd asked to photograph our wedding. Her first questions weren't about what shots we wanted (though she of course covers all of that in detail), but more about how we met, what our love story was, and what we wanted our wedding to feel like. The execution on the day of the wedding was perfection. Emily was on top of everything and worked seamlessly with our other vendors, it honestly felt as though they'd all worked together constantly rather than just having met.

We also did an engagement shoot with Emily and she drove all the way up to the top of Whiteface Mountain (quite a trek) to get our pictures with the fall foliage. She will really go above and beyond to make your dream setting work. Not to mention that she got most of the shots from that day back to us THE NEXT DAY, that's insane.

I'm running out of superlatives so let me just summarize with- at the very least talk with Emily and feel her energy and her warmth. And I hope you're lucky enough to work with her.

Planning a wedding can be so stressful...there are so many details to think about, so many opinions, and there can be a lot of pressure for only a few hours.
At the end of the day what matters most is capturing those precious moments in photos.
I had searched through so many instagrams looking for the right photographer and when I stumbled on Emily's through an old classmates, I knew my searching was over.
There is no better way to describe Emily than an artist. Her use of color, her eye for details, the way she effortlessly captures moments is an art form.
Emily instantly makes you feel comfortable, you forget there is a camera there. She has the ability to capture true organic moments, nothing overly posed.
