Emily did an incredible job capturing our wedding day (and our engagement photos too!). From Day 1 of working with Emily it was clear she was truly invested in getting to know us as a couple. She was there every step of the way to help with planning to make sure that our wedding day went smoothly and that we maximized time for photos as well as getting to actually enjoy our wedding! She was game for all of our ideas and photo locations, going the extra mile to help scout out good backdrops to get the perfect lake and mountain vibes we wanted. For us, there was simply no one else who could photograph our wedding! Emily is a professional through and through. She makes you feel at ease and comfortable from the moment she meets you. We had done a couples session with her before & consider her a great friend. Our entire bridal party loved her and the sneak peeks took our breath away. This is not a photographer who will get a couple shots and be done with it. She is taking pictures of absolutely everything, catching the best moments of the entire day and using her gorgeous editing style to make them even better. Emily was the wedding photographer of my DREAMS!! Not only does she take the most stunning photos but she is the absolute sweetest soul. From our first phone call together we instantly clicked. Our first shoot together was our engagement photos and she captured our vibe and aesthetic exactly as I imagined. She has the best eye and I couldn’t be happier with how our wedding memories turned out. She was so attentive and responsive throughout the whole process she made the day sooo stress free. We hired Emily for our fall wedding in the Adirondacks in New York. We also had a separate engagement shoot with her as part of that the day before our wedding.

I'll start by getting straight to the point- Emily was the perfect photographer for our wedding and for us. If I thought it was at all wise I would put my phone number on here and just say call me and I'll tell you why you should hire her. Her photography speaks for itself and she captured more perfect, hang-on-the-wall, share-with-your-kids-and-grandkids, moments than I ever thought we'd get. The main thing for me was that almost from the outset it didn't seem like we found a photographer it felt like we just had a really close friend we'd asked to photograph our wedding. Her first questions weren't about what shots we wanted (though she of course covers all of that in detail), but more about how we met, what our love story was, and what we wanted our wedding to feel like. The execution on the day of the wedding was perfection. Emily was on top of everything and worked seamlessly with our other vendors, it honestly felt as though they'd all worked together constantly rather than just having met.

We also did an engagement shoot with Emily and she drove all the way up to the top of Whiteface Mountain (quite a trek) to get our pictures with the fall foliage. She will really go above and beyond to make your dream setting work. Not to mention that she got most of the shots from that day back to us THE NEXT DAY, that's insane.

I'm running out of superlatives so let me just summarize with- at the very least talk with Emily and feel her energy and her warmth. And I hope you're lucky enough to work with her.

Planning a wedding can be so stressful...there are so many details to think about, so many opinions, and there can be a lot of pressure for only a few hours.
