It was a true pleasure working with John for our engagement shoot and for our big day! John is such an imaginative, talented individual. I love how he created unique shots that made our wedding unique in comparison to others. John also has a calm demeanor that helped with my pre-ceremony jitters. My husband and I feel that we can now call John not just our “photographer” but our “friend”. It was an honor to have John capture our most special moments for our wedding day and we cannot thank him enough.

Shannon Sent on 06/25/2018In the words of my husband, "John Larkin is a cool, chill dude." He is so refreshing to work with as a couple who really know nothing about being in front of a camera. From our first meeting, John set our minds at ease that we could be ourselves in our engagement and wedding day photos. He was so easy to work with while still giving subtle suggestions for us as to how to get the best photo or angle. We did our own thing in terms of poses and what felt right while we barely noticed he was taking pictures. This was so appreciated as we really feel like our photos came out still looking like us as a couple. He was super patient and willing to try anything we brought up, including a shot of our 200+ guests right after our wedding ceremony. He brought a big ladder and got one of the coolest shots with such clarity! We also truly appreciated his eye for nature, and he found some great spots for all of our sessions. The photos literally come to life with the vibrant colors and settings he chose for us. John is one of the best in the business, and we are so happy we were able to get to work with him!

He is extremely professional, staying the entire night to capture every detail of our wedding with the help of his second photographer Val! He set up the bet photo booth, adding to the fun and energy of the night. I highly recommend John, you will not be disappointed!! -

He's super flexible with your day of plans and he had a second photographer who was also amazing! He captures moments, those moments you will want to relive over and over again! He captures emotion and his photos look so natural, not over edited and not weird lighting. He is very skilled at his art! He provided a photo booth that was a HUGE hit! Definitely recommend adding that to your reception! The guests LOVED it! -

User1841808 Sent on 10/02/2014John is a great photographer and that is it. We are still waiting for the photo album that was included in our wedding OVER A YEAR ago. Not only are we unsure if we will get what we paid for but trying to get a response from him or his assistant has been next to impossible. First the album we were given a draft of would have actually cost an addition $300?!?!? We had already paid $7500+tax and that included an album butbhis assistant Meghan gave us an edited version that was bigger than what we paid, making us feel like they were trying to get every penny they could. Then when.my husband told her we spendt so much with our wedding we really just wanted the one we paid for she was extremely rude and stoped comunicating with us. He sent a few emails with absolutely no response, then he called john who said he would call back never did, then I called John and he emailed me that he was now months later almost a year from pur wedding sending our album out and we would not have it for pur anniversary. I sent him another email explaining our unhappiness about this and inquiring if the album would be mailed to us and yet AGAIN NO RESPONSE. Another disappointment was the international visitors we had order prints from his website after the wedding paid for them and weeks later we told it was too expensive to ship. We feel he should have just shipped them and learned that from now on he should put on his website he cannot ship internationally. Our international visitors were from Australia. Our pictures came out great however everything else has been terrible. With all the talented photographers i would NOT RECOMMEND him to anyone.
