Our Classical and Jazz soloists and ensembles for your ceremony and cocktail hour present just the right counterpoint to the excitement of your reception, where John Christian produces a customized dance mix guaranteed to keep your guests partying all night long. Our sound systems consist of state of the art powered speaker components eliminating the possibility of single amp failure associated with passive equipment. They are designed to accommodate 50-500 guests with a warm, energetic yet pleasantly listenable atmosphere for any size event.

We had a smaller wedding and budget but still wanted live music at our reception. John Christian's smaller group with a DJ/Vocalist, two female vocalists, and a percussion was just the right size and fit comfortably in our price range. We had a nice combination of live performance songs for all our guests and a DJ'd dance mix of top forty songs, which we selected and gave to John in a list before the wedding. Having the best of both worlds kept our families and friends on the dance floor all night. It was memorable and fun, just what we wanted.

John Christian has played for many occasions I have been to and everyone always has a great time so of course I booked them for our wedding. There is nothing more classy than a band at a wedding. People tend to think that bands can't or won't play popular music but John Christian and his band are extremely talented! They play everything! Everyone at our wedding danced all night! They have a huge selection of songs including songs to enter to. My husband is a sports fan and we even walked in to the Monday Night Football Theme! John came to our home and discussed exactly what we were looking for. He got to know us and with that made great suggestions! I have also been to occasions with just John as DJ which is also fantastic!! I have recommended this band and DJ to many friends and family!We always have a great time!!

John Chrisitan did an amazing job at my wedding!!! To say "thank you" is absolutely not enough.

From the beginning my husband and I knew we wanted a band and after we met with Johnny, he made our lives so easy. Johnny came to our house to show us videos and ideas of what we could do for our big day. His level of professionalism and lightheartedness was the perfect combination. Due to this, we had a great relationship with him through the whole process and when it came time for our Big Day, he was there every step of the way.

Probably our most favorite service that Johnny provided was the jazz trio during our cocktail hour. That just added a level of sofistication that none of my other friends' weddings had. It was awesome!!!

Johnny was a great MC and the band was out of this world!! The girls sounded just like the professional artists in the songs and they truly have a set of pipes on them. American Idol watch out - these girls are talented! The band had a great mix of songs so the room was dancing all night long. Also, at the end of the night Johnny DJ'ed some of the popular Top 40 pop songs during the "after party" portion of the evening. Talk about FULL SERVICE vendor!

All in all, John Christian Entertainment is the way to go. If you're looking for the bang for your buck, look no further!! John Christian Entertainment is your one stop shop for your event's music. I would absolutely recommend his services to any bride-to-be!

John Christian Entertainment played my wedding 5 years ago. They were fantastic! They played the right music for each part of the night. Their dinner and cocktail music was very classy and jazzy and the dance music had everyone up on the floor. The singers were great and the whole band sounded better than a CD. They played something for everyone. John even play for my church service. Great band!

John Christian was my wedding band 25 years ago and I had the pleasure of having him DJ our 25th anniversary this past September. Having used him in both capacities, I can say that either choice is great. I love the sound of a live band and especially with a horn section. John is extremely helpful in making all the needed decisions when it comes to music selection. Both he and his band are very talented musicians who can play a variety of music from oldies to current pop. They keep the crowd dancing all night long! As a DJ, his services are just as impeccable as the band. I would highly recommend using John Christian Entertainment in whatever capacity serves your needs, band or DJ.

Best vendor of my wedding by far!! John Christian and his band are AMAZING. Their talent is unsurpassed and he makes the night flow smoothly, a gifted musician and MC. Not only will John play a variety of music, he will make every guest feel special. He makes terrific recommendations and has a broad base of experience to know what to suggest without being pushy whatsoever.

I could not recommend this vendor enough. I am so glad he was part of my wedding.

Price: John gave a great price for his 9 piece band to play at my wedding. This price included having a few members play ceremonial music and jazz at the cocktail hour prior to the 9 members we had perform at the reception. I feel the older crowd loved all song for the reception but feel they missed the mark on the music for the younger 20 to 30 crowd.
Breaks: John offered that his band would eat beforehand as to save us money on paying for 9 band members to eat. I thought that was really kind but not necessary. As every working person deserves a break and a meal. What I did not realize is they took a lot more breaks then I expected. Then instead of playing different music for each break they played the same album again and again.
The forgotten things:The band forgot to hand out glow sticks later on in the night, that my venue had given them earlier on with instructions to give out. If this was going to be a problem, John should have let me know before I spent money on buying them all and advising him on the matter at our meeting two weeks prior to the wedding. They also forgot to raffle off the flowers at the tables, I was quite upset about that as at least people could have enjoyed them for a few more days. Instead all that money went down the drain on those gorgeous flowers. Which by the time was about 10 minutes until the wedding ended and almost all guest had left. Being the bride, I shouldn’t have to worry about these kinds of details if I hire a professional to take care of them.
Soured: I also had to ask several times for him to send me a copy of their certificate of insurance. He first told me it was sent directly to the venue, which is great but the venue also advised that I must also have copies to provide to them in case at the last minute they needed one they didn’t receive
When I again asked John for a copy for my own records, he told me to get it from the venue. I was quite turned off by this as I felt I hired him to provide a service and he

My first meeting with John was a good one, he sold me out! He said he would do as we wanted or had plan for the wedding, but I felt that he was more interested on the money than the services!
He did play the music selections I sent him late the night prior to the wedding, but he had an idea of what kind of music we were interested!
During the dinner he approached us at the table asking if there were any issues with him, because he hadn't received payment yet. I don't think he should have come up to the table during the dinner and asked us, we had a wedding planner and he should have resolved this with her and allowed us to enjoy our night! We were most definitely not going to leave without paying him or any of the vendors. I think he is a good DJ, just a pushy one!
