I was originally on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding day but I am so happy we did and that we found John! He was a pleasure to work with and we are thrilled with our highlight video. He offers so many different options, so you can choose what footage is important for you personally to have of your big day. John was very professional and was a great communicator leading up to our wedding. He loves his work and wants to make sure he understands your vision. It was such a pleasure to work with John on our wedding day! John was great to work with. He was responsive with questions and helping us know what to expect. For the wedding he showed up early and never knew he was even there for the ceremony. He captured everything beautifully. He followed the bride and groom and caught all the important moments. Along with that he got parts of the reception like dancing and when we got the videos they were perfect representation of the evening. Our pandemic micro-wedding was chronicled by John Appleton, who went above and beyond to give us a great value. We have a lovely keepsake video to show at the larger reception later this summer. I highly recommend John and his services. He did a lovely job.

We hired John Appleton as our videographer so that we could share our wedding with people who were not able to make it (corona bride problems). The product that was created was more than we could ever ask for, it is a beautiful keepsake that my husband and I will enjoy for the rest of our lives. John and his second shooter captured every moment of the day and put it all together in a beautiful cohesive movie. I would 100000% recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!

I have known John for quite some time now…well over a decade actually. I’ve always admired his work as a filmmaker and I feel extremely lucky to call him a friend. When I found out he got into the wedding industry, all I could think about was how lucky all of those couples would be to have John capture their day. When I got engaged and started planning the wedding, I KNEW I had to have him. John is an incredible film-maker…his camera work is impeccable and his editing skills are out of this world. Since we are friends I spent a lot of the day talking to him and staring into the lens while making stupid faces (something most brides probably wouldn’t do)…however, so much of the day I would forget he was even there-like a fly on the wall…BUT HE’S THERE! And he’s nailing it! He is not invasive, distracting, obnoxious, or aggressive. Rather he captures the day with grace and ease. He knows exactly what shots he needs to get in order to deliver a beautiful product and he is clear in communication every step of the way. He is on time, accommodating (even when schedules start to get tight), and seriously talented. If you’re looking for someone to capture your day in a way that is uniquely and visually stunning, breathtaking, and unforgettable-you should look no further and hire John. My first dance video-alone-was worth the cost of having him film the entire day. Thank you, John for being the artist that you are…because of you I will always be able to remember this day and all of the beautiful and raw emotions that come along with it.
