Joel Hoffman is a Maryland photographer. He photographs weddings, receptions and bar mitzvahs, model portforlios, headshots and commercial endevors in locations in and around Maryland, Virginia and the District of columbia. Mr. Hoffman's passion for people and photography has blended perfectly in his pursuit of wedding photography. He loves the interaction with his clients and the resulting images that occur from that interaction.

During the course of his photographic pursuits, he has taken many courses and seminars in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has participated in workshops with such notable photographers as Smithsonian photographer, Chip Clark, United States fish and wild life photographer, Jim Clark, George Lepp, John Paul Caponigro and he participated in a 16 week studio lighting and portrait course at the Smithsonian Institution with Marty Kaplan.

In 2002, along with several other members of the North Bethesda Camera Club, Joel was honored by Nature’s Best Magazine with an award of 1st Place in their international Camera Club competition. Mr. Hoffman has photographed both as a volunteer and paid professional for such enterprises as the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Meridian International, Victorian Lyric Opera Company, Tennis Magazine, Luna/c Media, Children’s Concierge, LLC, Rosenberg A&I, Taylor-Williams Interior Designs and Andriana Furs. He was honored to have been selected to produce publicity photographs for the nationally acclaimed band OAR.
