WARNING: The Film Crew Company and "Joee Giovanni" Are SCAMMERS – AVOID at All Costs!
I cannot stress this enough – DO NOT hire The Film Crew Company or anyone associated with "Joee Giovanni." My experience was nothing short of a disaster, and I feel obligated to warn others about this unprofessional and unethical operation.
I booked Joee Giovanni through The Film Crew Company for a wedding, which was supposed to be one of the most important days of my client's life. I had paid upfront for both photography and videography services, and everything was confirmed in writing. We discussed every detail well in advance and had a signed contract in place.
But on the wedding day, Joee Giovanni was a complete NO-SHOW. No call, no text, no email—nothing! He vanished into thin air, leaving me to not only manage photography but also take on videography, a role I never should have had to worry about after paying a professional for that exact service.
Despite my numerous attempts to contact him on the day, Joee Giovanni ignored every call and message. This level of unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable. I was left alone to handle a high-pressure situation that I had hired him to manage.
After the event, I reached out for a refund for the videography portion, since it was never provided. Joee Giovanni REFUSED to refund me, breaking our contract without a second thought and showing no accountability whatsoever. His complete disregard for his contractual obligations and lack of remorse is appalling.
This person and his company clearly have no integrity, no professionalism, and no respect for their clients or their events. The Film Crew Company and Joee Giovanni are nothing more than scammers preying on people who trust them with their important moments. They will take your money and vanish when it matters most.
If you value your peace of mind and want your event captured by true professionals, stay FAR AWAY from The Film Crew Company and Joee Giovanni. Don’t let this happen to you!
