My entire experience with Joan was flawless. My husband and I planned to elope with pretty short notice. I email a few photographers about 2 weeks before we planned to get married, and Joan responded that she had availability. She was able to very quickly and simply get the information she needed and to provide a contract and a quote on cost (which was extremely reasonable). On the day of the event, Joan was punctual and helpful. She asked what I was envisioning, and I expressed a preference to defer to her professional expertise, so she jumped right in to guide us through everything (which is easier to maneuver with a group of 5). She made the whole process fun and easygoing. A week after the wedding (a full week before her estimated turnaround time), I received so many more gorgeous edited photos than I expected. We were only taking pictures for an hour, which included the ceremony, and I can honestly spend more time just looking at these photos than it took to take them. They are so lovely and capture so much of the emotion and energy of the day. I love showing them off to people. Was very lucky to find Joan.

Joan made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured so many intimate moments of love and laughter. All of our photos turned out beautiful. We will cherish these for a lifetime.

We hired Joan for our engagement and wedding photo. She took the time to talk with us and learn about us as a couple. So the color and vibes of the photo match our style perfectly. She is patience and is good with directing us on what to do (we needed it). Joan is also committed and has an awesome work ethic - she brought a little stool with her on the photoshoot because I mentioned I'm pretty tall and don't like my lower angle. Definitely recommended for your event photography!

We loved working with Joan and her husband. They did a fabulous job, made my husband and I feel at ease (even though were are AWFUL at taking photos) and the photos came out great! She totally over delivered and was an EXCELLENT value. Would highly recommend!

Joan was amazing to work with! She was available to communicate over the phone and email. We provided a shoot list and she braved the windy/cold Seattle weather and knocked out each photo. Her keen eye and ability to adapt made taking our wedding day photos look effortless. She was professional and kind, her eagerness to make our day all about us was felt throughout the day.
