Where do we begin… I don’t think there are enough words to describe the beautiful soul that is Jess. ✨ As an anxious bride trying to figure out where to begin, her name stood out to me on my venue’s vendor list and I am so grateful she was my first call and I never looked anywhere else. From that first call, I felt an instant connection and bond with Jess - I just knew she was the person I needed to tell our story through her art. When you choose Jess as your photographer (oh and yes you have to choose her, don’t look anywhere else, please)... you will know exactly what I mean. As a neurodivergent person myself, she made me feel safe and comfortable every step of the way. She was the first vendor to walk into my room when I was getting ready on my wedding day, and I instantly felt a weight lift. You cannot put a price on the time, dedication, care and quality that Jess puts into her art… her photography is breathtaking. 🤩 My husband and I were blown away by our engagement photos and now our wedding photos… my gosh, we are obsessed!! I cannot wait to continue to watch her grow from the sidelines, as a huge fan, and now as a friend. OH, and did I mention she’s also the ✨ BEST PHOTOGRAPHER 📷 of the “Best of Tampa Bay”? ✨ Yeah, she’s THAT awesome!! 😎 So yeah, don’t look anywhere else… just like me, you won’t regret it, I promise! ♥️

Since our original photographer was on maternity leave, Jessica Cruz and Greta Green served as our associate shooters on our big day—and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo.

Even though they weren’t our main point of contact for all the planning logistics, they were super responsive and communicative in the weeks leading up to the wedding, which put us at ease.

When we were running behind the morning of the wedding—imagine 14 girls getting ready with hair and makeup!—she arrived and immediately jumped in with such a calm, collected energy. She started capturing the day without missing a beat and even helped my bridesmaids get me dressed when things were getting a little hectic.

One thing that really stuck with us was how she kept reminding us, that This is our day—you don’t have to feel like you’re on autopilot going through our day of timeline. That perspective helped us stay grounded and actually feel present in the moment, which is something we’ll always be grateful for.

She captured so many gorgeous moments, but beyond the photos, it was her warmth that made the experience so special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the couples she works with, and she made the whole day feel a little lighter and a lot more fun. We hired Jessica for both engagement and wedding photos. We (I) hired her as opposed to a few others for a couple different reasons. I came across her work in an article of “Tampa bays best wedding photographers”. Ok so off to a good start. I looked at her instagram and emailed her, as I did most of the ones on the list. The difference from the beginning… she CALLED me after a couple quick emails back and forth. We talked on the phone for over an hour. She has a ton of experience and was giving me the low down on what to look for, what I needed, how to fit these things in my budget, what I didn’t need and even gave some recommendations for other vendors as I had just started the process. She was SO helpful. So I made the executive decision and we went with her. Prices were reasonable. She is a one woman operation and there was no fee for a second photographer. Initially I was worried but she reassured me and a few of my friends agreed that it wasn’t necessary. Fast forward. Engagement photos were great, she’s very chill and easy to work with. But the wedding photos…. Speechless. She sent us 100 sneak peeks WITHIN a week. I have friends that were married over a month ago still holding out for some pics. They were AMAZING. We are so happy with how they’ve turned out and I look at them daily so I can only imagine what the rest will be like. Also you spend a lot of time with your photographer, you should make sure they are cool and easy to work with. Love Jessica and her work. We couldn’t be happier to have had her for our wedding!

We went a little out of budget hiring Jessica, and it made me feel a little nervous because we're still young and getting through college. I want EVERYONE to know hiring Jessica was the best decision I made that anything i spent feels like nothing to have such a positive experience and to have her in my corner.

Jessica is AMAZING!! We booked her through Tide the Knot for both our engagement photos and for our wedding, and we are absolutely in love with our photos. My (now!) husband and I are both very uncomfortable in front of the camera, but she did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and helping us pose. We had a great time during our photo sessions with her, and she was so reliable and easy to communicate with. Anyone would be beyond lucky to work with Jess. We will definitely be booking her for future milestones!

Jessica is SO talented!!! Jessica was absolutely amazing throughout this entire process. She was always available to talk, and answer any and all questions I had. Jessica was the absolute BEST photographer EVER! We hired her for our wedding and she was fun, easy-going, and made being photographed feel EASY. I've never considered myself much of a model, but she was full of ideas and helped us to look our best quickly and easily. Jessica is the best! I have never enjoyed having my picture taken and somehow she has made it easy and enjoyable on three separate occasions now. She will go above and beyond what you expect because she honestly loves what she does. I have done a surprise engagement shoot, boudoir shoot, and had her shoot our wedding and all three have turned out looking better than the Pinterest board I put together!
