Jerry Lio is incredibly amazing! He is kind, genuine, talented, and very professional. We had a wonderful time working with him taking our Engagement photos in La jolla. He spent time discussing with us about our hobby, personal styles and preferences. On the day of taking the photos, he made us relax and laughed a lot. He was able to seize the moments and capture the interaction.

He has great eyes, and can make common scenes stunning, and gorgeous places even more breath-taking in photos. He is superb in capturing lights. You can feel the brightness and warmth of the San Diego sunshine in the photos. The photos were incredibly beautiful!

The price is very reasonable. All my family and friends love the photos, including some of them are photographers. Jerry is the photographer that I will definitely recommend to all my love ones for their big days!

Jerry really made it happen!!

My husband and I decided to get married last minute in July. We are the kind of couple that don't have much idea of anything related to a wedding. My only request is to have someone photograph our wedding so we could memorize the moment in the future. I felt extremely grateful that Jerry agreed to shoot our wedding on a two week notice. On top of that, he not only discussed about the styles of photography, but also generously provided insightful ideas of wedding decorations/arrangement to me. These were extremely helpful for someone who had no time and not much idea to put together a wedding. I knew I was in good hand!

We also couldn't explain our desired photography style too well. I think the only thing I told Jerry was "We want to look natural." He totally nailed it! He was very patient with us and super easy to work with. We actually felt relaxed and had lots of fun during the shoot. No puppet-like feelings at all!

Even though we couldn't specify our desired style, and didn't bring him any sample pictures, he still managed to catch the precious moment effortlessly. I can't be more satisfied with Jerry's work. What can I say.. He even took some really really great pictures of my husband, whom always HATES to be photographed! We really couldn't thank Jerry enough!

All and all, I just wanted to say that Jerry is very smart. He catches what you want with little information, and delivers it. He's a natural and a super nice person. You'd feel relaxed around him. Before working with Jerry, I didn't think I'd ever say this- But I really ENJOYED our wedding photo shoot. I would definitely recommend Jerry to anyone who wants a fun/relaxed wedding/family photo session, and natural yet beautiful-looking pictures of course!

Jerry Lio is a ninja photographer! We are LDS (Mormon) and usually our weddings they take the whole day. The ceremony is in the morning and the reception is in the evening. Jerry was more than willing to work with us for our crazy schedule. Not only was he incredibly professional and willing to cater to our needs, his photographs are true works of art. I am an art student and have been studying photography since my junior year in High School and I can say he is an incredibly talented photographer. Not only were his photos fantastic the turnaround was incredibly quick we had just gotten back from our honey moon and shortly thereafter they were done. Jerry is an amazing value and I would highly recommend him.

Jerry was amazing! He was always on top of things, answered all of my questions and offered great suggestions. Neither my fiancé (now husband :p) or I were very comfortable in front of the camera but Jerry made us feel at ease. Both the engagement pictures and wedding day pictures were exactly what we wanted. I love Jerry's amazing angles and unique shots! I plan on using hiring Jerry again to take pictures of my wedding planner and her husband on their 25 year anniversary in a few months.

Jerry is a friend and was just getting started with his photography business when we had our wedding. As a gift to us he covered our reception, and I had his wife Mandy do my makeup (which turned out beautifully!). I am SO happy he did this for us, all of our best pictures by far were from Jerry. We didn't care for the (admittedly budget) "professional" photographer's pictures at all. Jerry has a great eye and sense of timing, in addition to having the technical expertise to get the shot he's looking for! I wish we lived near him now so we could get some maternity portraits and baby pics, as we are expecting our first child!

Jerry is an excellent photographer! I was seeking for a good photographer for my wedding in March 2011 when my friend recommended Jerry to me.
I decided to invite Jerry and Mandy, his beautiful wife, to do the photography and bridal make-up in my wedding after I saw some wedding pictures they took for other couples. This decision is absolutely correct! The bridal make-up and photography are both professional, but minimalistic and natural! Also, Jerry and Mandy are both very flexible and nice in person. I'm glad that I had Mandy and Jerry helped me keep my sweetest memory of my life.

Jerry is fantastic! We were one of the first weddings that he shot, which he did as a friend and to build a portfolio. I wish we has just hired him as his product was exactly what we wanted and much better than the professional photographer we hired (who has significantly more experience). When I made my wedding photo book, the photos that I used came from Jerry. Jerry is a natural when it comes to bring out the true essence of the event and the people involved. His unobtrusive nature allows him to catch very intimate and spontaneous moments in addition to the classic shots that any bride wants to have.
