Jennifer Betzer has been performing on harp for over 20 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. During this time, she had the great opportunity to study harp abroad in Vienna, Austria as well as in Sydney, Australia. These studies granted her numerous opportunities to perform abroad as a soloist, in a chamber setting, and with orchestra.

Shortly after graduating she performed as a soloist with the Rome Festival Orchestra in Italy, and continued her studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she earned a Master of Music Performance degree. In addition to performing with the Conservatorium Orchestra, she had the privilege to perform and tour as Principal Harpist with the Sydney Sinfonia. She is now a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at The University of North Texas where she has received multiple scholarships, the Graduate string award, and first prize in the Graduate Exhibition.

Additional performance experience was granted through the Bowdoin International Music Festival (Maine), Hot Springs Music Festival (Arkansas), Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory (Colorado), and Long Horn Music Festival (Texas).

Jennifer Betzer is currently the Harp Director at Vandeventer Middle School, Scoggins Middle School, Indepedence High School, and Reedy High School. During the summer Jennifer performs popular standards daily for high tea and demitasse at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
