Jennie was our photographer for our wedding in July 2022. Many people recommended her to me, so I thought the price we were paying was definitely going to be worth it, but I was wrong. We loved our engagement pictures, even though 95% of them were kissing pictures. She did say we would have a few back in a couple days but that did not happen. Fast forward to our wedding day, she was on time which was great. She did not get many pictures of me with the girls getting ready or my mom and I. The pictures she took of my husband and I were basically all the same poses and the same spot on the dock. She did not get pictures of my mother and I or grandmother and I. She also sat in the corner at my venue for over an hour. She claimed she took decor pictures but there weren't any. Here's the best part, she will give you excuse after excuse and make up stories as to why she didn't yet you your pictures by her 10-12 turn around time. She will also ignore your messages and claim she didn't see them, even though it shows they were read shortly after. And even better... Goodluck getting your usb. She claimed she sent my usb, I asked for tracking # but she said she didn't have it. The next week she said she was going to fedex it to me and send me tracking, never did. Basically this went on for a month and a half. I finally got my USB 2 weeks ago. Almost 6 months after my wedding.
I do not recommend Jennie.

When our daughter's wedding was canceled due to Hurricane Irene in August 2011, we had to scramble to find a photographer who was available at the rescheduled date, October 15, 2011. Jennie was recommended by a friend who is a photographer, and was available. She was professional up to the date of the wedding, came on time, organized some great shots. Pictures and wedding book were supposed to be done within about 10 weeks. Our daughter finally got to review online proofs about a half year after the wedding, after much badgering by us. In November 2012 (over a year after the wedding), following multiple contacts by us, Jennie provided the digital photographs, waived the final 1/3 payment and said she mailed the wedding book (even though we offered to pick it up from her.) The book has never arrived, and contact with Jennie (when she responds, which is rare) has resulted in messages like, "Oh, the book has not arrived? I will call the post office and get back to you this afternoon." And of course, she never does get back to us. We are confident that she did not put the wedding book together, let alone mail it. She did not deliver what she promised, has not been responsive, and has been deceptive when she does respond.

I hired Jennie for my son’s wedding on June 2, 2023. I had full confidence and trust in her since I knew her and was familiar with her work. Everything went smooth on the wedding day. The day after she sent us 2 sneak peeks. They were absolutely AMAZING!!! After that, we didn’t hear from her until I reached out to her a week before the promised delivery date which was 12 weeks after the wedding. She ended up being late uploading the photos for us to view. Once we looked through them we realized she was missing pictures of my son getting ready, the ceremony and reception! We went back and forth with her for weeks trying to get the rest of the pictures. We asked for the USB that she was supposed to send. She told us that she sent it out, but couldn’t give us the tracking number because her boyfriend was the one who sent it and the slip was in his truck. Ironically, his truck had to be worked on so she was never able to provide the number nor did we ever receive that USB. I then told her I wanted to meet somewhere to pick up “another one” since after 2 weeks we never received the original. I also told her I wanted money back because of breech of contract. She told me she would give me $100 less then I wanted and she would provide a “complementary album”. I told her I didn’t trust her to send the album and would rather the money, but ended up agreeing. It took us until October 30 to finally receive the USB which was STILL missing photos. She did end up sending a Google link later with the rest. It is now 4/7/24 and we are STILL waiting on the album she promised us. After posting anonymously in a community page, another bride reached out to me asking for the name of the photographer cause she was having the same exact issue. Come to find out she also used Jennie. Although her work is beautiful, the final images she provided us with were not the same as the sample shots she gave us after the wedding. In fact, the 2 pictures we fell in love with weren’t even on the drive. Going through that much stress trying to get precious memories back was EXTREMELY stressful and almost heartbreaking cause we were left wondering if we were ever going to receive them! I will NEVER recommend anyone I know ever again for a wedding or an important event because of this experience. Not only was it stressful, it was completely humiliating to know that the person I suggested ended up being one of the worst parts about the wedding!
