Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is a fun, charismatic, dynamic, and creative photographer. My husband and I enjoyed working with her and we love the pictures she took for both our wedding and engagement sessions. Additionally, I adore Jenn's spirited nature. She always made sure my husband and I were comfortable, which we both appreciated.

Me and my husband knew from the minute we met Jenn she HAD to photograph our wedding. She was very responsive to questions and emails but knows how to have fun. She's very out going and open minded which I think makes a great photographer. She was very supportive the day of the wedding and our family and friends thought she was hilarious. We also adored her second shooter she brought with her that day. Def a great duo that vibed with our personalities!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Jenn Alton at our wedding in August 2013. We had met Jenn when we attended another wedding the year before. When it came time for our own wedding we immediately reached out to Jenn. She has a level of professionalism and talent that is hard to find these days. When you combine that with her communication, organization, and follow-up you end up with the perfect photographer.

Jenn was very detailed leading up to our wedding, making sure that she was clear on our expectations. On the day of the wedding Jenn and her colleague were excellent in working with us and our guests to make sure that they got some amazing photos of our big day. As I am sure every couple is, we were very anxious to see some photos of the event. The day after the wedding Jenn already had some select images posted on Facebook for us to see, and within a month we received all of our high resolution images on a USB drive delivered to our house. We also received a nice surprise as Jenn kindly included a couple canvas prints of a few of our photos that we now have displayed in our home.

We would highly recommend Jenn to anyone looking for a professional photographer. Her ability to capture moments on camera is amazing and we hope to have an opportunity to work with her again! Thank you Jenn!

Jenn has a vibrant personality and makes you feel like an old friend from the moment you meet her -- very comfortable, relaxed and bit amusing. In her capacity as photographer, she proved to be focused, yet entertaining; in charge, but always respectful and polite. We would highly recommend Jenn.

I can't say enough about what a wonderful job Jenn did photographing our wedding! She was always available for any questions or concerns I had leading up to the big day, and made me feel really confident that everything was going to go really well. On the day of, she was at the venue before I was (!) and was so helpful (even with my dress!) and made everyone feel really comfortable. It felt like she was just another friend at my wedding :) People have remarked to me that our photos look like they came out of a magazine. In searching for the perfect wedding photographer, Jenn Alton was everything that we were looking for. The quality of her work stood out from the rest when it came to capturing every special moment of our big day. She had the perfect balance of professionalism mixed with creativity and fun. Jenn Alton is a wonderful, amazing photographer. She is creative and so much fun to work with. I will never look for another photographer...I plan on using her for my baby photo shoot when the time comes.

First, full disclosure I have known Jenn since she was called Jenny! But she was the best photographer I could have asked for! I have never thought of myself as photogenic and really, my main hope going into this was that Jenn would get pictures of me with my eyes open:) But she went far above and beyond! To start she was always available for planning and answering questions via the phone and email as we were doing this long distance. She listened to what I wanted and then improved those ideas! She arrived early and ready for anything! She was friendly, creative and kept everyone smiling to get those shots even on a cold Saturday in Chicago! She quickly posted sneak peeks on Facebook and not only where my eyes open in the pictures but I looked beautiful and my husband looked amazing (like he was starring in Mad Men)!!! She also did a blog post so I could share the pictures with family, friends, and coworkers. Everyone (myself included) was impressed with Jenn's pictures that captured the traditional aspects of a wedding (cake cutting, etc) along w/ the more unique aspects (fist bumps, ceiling tiles, etc.) that made the day. Jenn was awesome, I can't recommend her enough and I look forward to having her photograph future events!

Jenn puts her heart and soul into taking beautiful pictures. Her attention to detail is admirable as well as her flexibilty in working with you. She takes a great deal of time with her blogs to truly capture the days events with words and photos that take your breath away. Our family recommends her without reservation. Let me start off by saying that I was a very picky, detail oriented, and thoroughly involved bride when it came to the whole wedding planning process. I was nervous about every aspect of my wedding and wanted EVERYTHING to be so perfect that I even gave the minister a script for the ceremony! So you can just imagine how high my expectations were when it came to the photography. My main goals for the the photographer was to capture ALL the little details, capture priceless moments, and have a mordern/artistic flair. Jenn was more than I could have even imagined! Jenn contacted me before the wedding and right away put me at ease and I knew we were a photographer and bride match made in heaven!

On my wedding day, Jenn arrived early and went right to work and even helped calm my wedding jitters. Jenn took lots of pictures and was never intrusive. Many of my photos I look at and wonder, "where was Jenn when that photo was taken"? In addition, she took many candid shots which created a wonderful wedding story. Jenn also captured all the little details, which was important to me since I did all the stationary (programs, menus, favor tags) and lots more. Plus, my mom made the wedding cake and my florist, Magdalena, created such beautiful flower arrangements. Jenn captured it all and the photos look magnificent!

Another thing I like about Jenn is that she answered any questions I had, event AFTER the wedding! Jenn is the type of photographer who really enjoys what she does and wants the customer to be completely satisfied from beginning to even "after the end".

After the wedding, Jenn added some of the pictures she took from my wedding to her blog and it looks great and it gives me a way to easily share with others a snapshot of the wedding.

I have received so many rave reviews from family and friends who have viewed my wedding pictures and they are also in awe. My cousin told me that what ever I paid Jenn, she would have doubled it! Jenn's work, assistance, and personable nature are worth millions and I feel honored that she helped to capture my wedding day.
