JEN MAY PASTORES is a documentary hybrid (film + digital) photographer and writer rooted in Hawaiʻi. Her background in journalism and creative writing led her down a path of storytelling: as a teacher, a poet, an exhibiting artist, and as a daughter collecting her family’s history. Jen May Photography was established in 2006 and is currently based in Honolulu, Hawai’i. In the last 18 years, Jen May has photographed hundreds of weddings and events covering community work, cultural celebrations, destination weddings, and intimate gatherings.
