Jen is a freaking treasure!! After seeing her portfolio on Instagram, I knew I needed her on my team to make me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. Right from the start, she was so responsive, caring, and attuned to what I was going for. She fit seamlessly into our bridal party, keeping us all laughing and happy. The makeup was nothing short of flawless. I have pretty substantial hyperpigmentation from melasma. After Jen was done with me, my complexion was smooth, even, and glowing. Jen was phenomenal to work with for my wedding! Not only was she very flexible and accommodating with our reschedules due to covid, but our makeup turned out amazing. I had my trial and liked my makeup, but my husband didn’t like it. Jen worked with me to find the *perfect* natural look - I felt absolutely incredible and so confident on my big day. My husband was blown away! All of my bridesmaids and both my mom and MIL could not stop talking about how good of a job she did and how sweet she was!!! She also gave me a super sweet day-of touch up kit and gave me samples of her products during my trial along with tips for how to make my skin look perfect day-of.

Jen was my makeup artist for my wedding last week and I am still in awe of her talent and professionalism. I have actually known Jen for awhile but this was my first time working with her as a MUA. After searching many portfolios online I knew she was the makeup artist I wanted for me and my girls!!
Jen was very reasonably priced (especially in comparison to some other local MUAs!), very quick to respond and communicate, and so easy to work with. I had to postpone my wedding and she was so understanding and accommodating - it took a lot of stress (and guilt) off my plate.
Jen has the best personality ever. The day of the wedding, she came in full of energy, excitement, and pure happiness. It made me feel so at ease and excited! She loves her job and it shows in the way she carries herself! Her work also speaks for itself. She did 11 of us by herself AND had time for multiple touch ups! Every single one of my girls LOVED their makeup- I think obsessed was more of an appropriate word. And you know that’s difficult for every girl to be satisfied with their makeup!
My bridal makeup was perfect. Jen listened to what I wanted and also provided her professional opinion on certain colors and makeup options. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and it took everything in me not to cry when I saw myself.
If you’re worried about your makeup melting - just don’t. Our wedding day was 97 degrees and we were outside for at LEAST an hour. I did not have to touch up at ALL (except I put a little more lip color on after a few drinks). It lasted all day and all night through sweat, tears, eating and drinking! My girls and I got complimented all night about our makeup!
The icing on the cake: our limo came a few minutes early to beat traffic so we were rushing out the door. Jen CLEANED UP after herself AND US, locked up my house. and left my husband and I a sweet note to come home to! Talk about going above and beyond!!

Jen was so incredible to work with for my wedding. She had done my makeup for my friends wedding one year ago, and I knew that day that I wanted to have her do my makeup for my wedding. She not only helped me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life on the outside, but she really helps you feel beautiful on the inside as well.

I am a very anxious person and my wedding day was no exception. Jen understood this and could not have been more supportive, accommodating and comforting. Every step of the way, she reassured me and was SO patient with any concerns or fears that would pop up. She worked with me the whole time, was always fast to respond, and always had a positive attitude when I needed one. She showed up early on wedding day, was always available via text for a quick question, and my bridesmaids raved about how wonderful she was to work with.

Jen did makeup for myself and my wedding party this fall! She did an amazing job and everyone looked perfect! Hiring Jen was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. I had been following her on instagram (@biy_makeup_) for several years now and was always so blown away with her makeup. I knew before I even got engaged that I wanted to have her do my makeup. What those instagram photos didn't capture was how amazing of a person she is. She made sure that every single one of my girls felt absolutely beautiful on the wedding day. She went above and beyond to ensure we all were relaxed and having fun. For example, I barely slept the night before my wedding and on the spot she put together little eye masks for me to wear to help with any puffiness. First I want to start by saying that Jen is a complete professional and that she is incredibly talented. There is no part of hiring her and planning with her that I was stressed about. From the second I went to her studio for my trial I felt like we were friends and that she had my best interest at heart. She gave me what I wanted and made suggestions, willing to try everything and insisting I feel amazing before letting me leave!

She had my timeline to me shortly after the trial. The plans were set- and she made suggestions for what ended up being the perfect skin care routine to help my rosacea... so besides the makeup my actual skin feels better than it has in years!

The day of she texted me to let me know her ETA. She came early, set up, and ran ahead of schedule. Her work is flawless and every single girl (6 bridesmaids, 2 moms & me-the bride) felt incredible! I had an issue where it was my turn but I had to organize my ceremony site after a set up error. She patiently waited and told me to handle what I need to. She literally encouraged me to eat animal crackers to keep calm while I was starving and rushing and anxious. She made sure my drink had a straw so I could hydrate while I was able to sit still.

With Jen, it was about so much more than makeup. I actually had okay trials before and/or thought I'd attempt my own day of look... Jen kept me sane! I vented, I was sarcastic and surprisingly mean and anxious on my wedding day and her energy is just amazing. Her chair is where my calm was!! Besides the surface, she made every lady present feel like the most inwardly gorgeous woman in the room. Just such a wonderful experience working with her. If you're even considering it- just do it. i can't say enough good things!!!
