This is a long overdue review for Jean Hodgens, who did an absolutely phenomenal job as our wedding photographer for our September 2023 wedding. Jean was the first wedding vendor I hired for our wedding; from our first conversation, she already felt like a friend. I wanted to make sure we signed a contract ASAP to ensure we could secure her services! Booking Jean was one of the best decisions I made throughout our wedding planning process.

Her work exceeded my expectations. My husband and I are not experienced at being professionally photographed, and I was worried that we might feel awkward on the day (and, as a result, end up with awkward photos). Jean’s fun and positive energy made that impossible! We had an absolute blast with her, and our guests were all raving about how wonderful she was and how comfortable she made them feel.

Fast forward to receiving the pictures (which Jean turned around in a prompt and timely manner): I was truly blown away. We absolutely treasure the photos, and I can’t thank Jean enough for capturing the joy that we felt at our wedding. She was a true pleasure to work with and delivered amazing results; do not hesitate to book her for your wedding!

We had an outdoor wedding on the stormiest day of the summer, but Jean's smile and wonderful spirit helped us ignore the weather and enjoy our special day. In addition to being a great sport about the weather, Jean was incredibly accommodating -- we had a small wedding and she worked with us to fit our needs in terms of timing/pricing. And most importantly, our wedding pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY! She perfectly captured the spirit of the day, which we get to relive every time we look at the photos. We would hire Jean again in a heartbeat.

Jean is the photographer everyone needs!!! She is fun, encouraging, and creative. She makes you feel comfortable and is able to capture the special moments without being invasive. Jean is flexible and her easy going ways make you feel as if you have known her forever!!! Jean is the best!!!!

Jean was absolutely incredible! She made our special day magical and went above and beyond in every way possible. Upon reviewing the album every picture blew us away! Each picture seemed better than the last! I feel so blessed and grateful to have met such an incredible talented person! Jean was exceptional...she captured all the special moments we wanted and others we didn't even realize we wanted. She was able to organize people for formal photos and blend into the background to capture candid photos. I have already had friends and family ask for her contact information so they can use her services!

I do not have enough great things to say about our experience with Jean! From the sweet wedding gift she sent before the big day to making our wedding day so much fun and special, Jean was an absolute dream to work with. She brought such a fun and positive energy, and the pictures are beyond stunning. My husband and I are still getting feedback from our family and friends about how absolutely incredible she was! We planned our elopement two hours away from home and wanted to capture the day. Jean was recommended to us through our venue/hotel and from the moment we connected, we knew our memories would be in good hands. She listened to what we wanted in our session, what she recommended to make the most of our time and was always available if we wanted to ask questions.
