What is the story behind Jay Guzman Music and Events?
Hey there!
My name’s Jay, and I’d love to play your next event. I’m primarily a piano/singing act, with a bit of guitar. I play a wide variety of genres, and I’m also happy to learn new songs at your request, so don’t be shy!
I’ve played events everywhere from New York to Austin, Texas, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, Mexico, London, and many more. For weddings, I specialize in both cocktail hours and receptions. I believe that the vibe is everything, so whether you’re looking for a mellower musician for a low-key event or want a full-on party, I’m your man!
My catalog is well over a few hundred songs, and I do top 40 contemporary, Singer/Songwriter, pop staples, and older classics. A few examples of artists I play: Elton John, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Harry Styles, Cyndi Lauper, Fleetwood Mac, the Lumineers, and much, much more.

Incredible Talent & Beautiful Music
You need this musician at your wedding! Jay performed at our wedding this August and we are so grateful that he did. Right from the booking process through to his double set performance on our special day the music and atmosphere he created was contagious and this part of our day was everything we hoped for and more. His charismatic energy was on point, the music was beautiful, we had people complimenting our choice of musician and asking for his details during and since our special day.
Jay had the wedding party and guests across three generations on their feet gathered in the open air, dancing, singing and smiling from ear to ear. He drew us in together and created the perfect vibe which created flow with a building tempo from our ceremony through to evening dance floor. He clearly listened to us during our meeting and this gave a real personal touch to his performance. The emotion and energy that he brought to the songs we had chosen was pure magic.
As music is so important to us we wanted to pre choose all song choices for the entire day, Jay worked with us closely on this providing a wonderful song list for inspiration and even offered to learn a couple of songs that were particularly meaningful to us especially for the occasion.
The acoustic performance was absolutely stunning and added such a magical touch to our day. We genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough, can we do it all again please!!!
