We are so happy we hired Java Rose photography to document our wedding day. I spoke to a ton of different photographers before finding Java Rose, and a lot of times I felt like the the work of other photographers looked like something I could take on a iPhone and slap a filter on. This is not the case with Java Rose. She is extremely talented and able to capture lighting and clarity in a beautiful way that requires a high level of skill.

We first used Apsari for our engagement photoshoot at the beach, where it ended up down pouring. Apsari not only handled the rain (and my stress) well, but she was willing to wait for the heaviest of the rain to pass. This turned our 1 hour session into a 3 hour session, but not once did she complain. Also, since we waited for the rain to pass, it was essentially dark out when we took our photos, but you’d have no idea it was night time by the photos because Java Rose/ Apsari is so good at capturing the light.

Come the wedding day, Apsari was a calming presence who kept the day moving along according to schedule. My bridesmaids loved working with her as well. She captured the wedding day beautifully and we don’t feel any details were missed. We are so happy with the gallery she delivered, and have too many favorites!

We had a rainy engagement shoot and a sunny wedding day, and Apsari is great and photographing either.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Java Rose Photography. Aspari is incredibly talented, and I am beyond happy with the preview gallery shared so far. The way she helped to keep us on track on the wedding day, especially during family photos, is something we are extremely thankful for. She listened, provided much-needed advice and direction, and delivered. Not only was she incredibly professional, but she was also a beautiful soul that we enjoyed spending our wedding day with. Our one-on-ones—my bridal photos and my husband's photos—made me cry. The lighting, the angles, everything was absolutely perfect. We don’t dress up often, so seeing this documented hit me hard. They are stunning and magazine-worthy.
Her timing—our first dance was one of my favorite parts of the wedding, and Aspari captured a favorite moment that I will forever be grateful for.
Her direction and creativity—we had rain on our wedding day, and Aspari and her team asked if we would be interested in getting some rain photos. This photo turned out to be my favorite photo in our gallery.

I cannot capture Apsari's amazing qualities as a photographer and as a person with words. She is a true artist and has such an effervescent energy that heightens the experience of a wedding. We worked with her for both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding, and both experiences turned out so beautifully. On our wedding day, the weather was extremely harsh - both cold and heavy rain on an April day. Look, I know the polite thing to do when someone shows you their wedding photos is to say that they’re nice. But when I’m still getting texts days later from loved ones saying “I can’t stop looking at these!” or picking out new favorites they found, I’m inclined to believe they really do love the pictures (almost) as much as I do. I worried it would be potentially difficult to strike a balance between the sort of editorial, fine art style I wanted and a result that also feels authentic and true to my memories of the day, but that’s exactly what I got. In addition to the breathtaking work, Apsari and her assistant were both incredibly warm and friendly people whose presence made our wedding environment a more fun and relaxed place. We feel truly lucky to have booked Java Rose, and I can only imagine Apsari will be getting busier and busier— so book her while you have the chance!
