Jason & Kate Photography snaps photos full of love at weddings in Wilmington, North Carolina, and beyond. This dynamic duo dedicates itself to capturing the beauty and uniqueness of happy couples on their special day. Having been in this industry for several years, the team has photographed over 300 weddings across 15 states, with each album telling the story of the couple within.
Services Offered
Jason and Kate use a variety of styles to catch both the planned moments and the candid ones where the couple's love truly shines. This pair works together and can provide additional hours when required. To-be-weds can choose a package that suits their needs, or have one tailored to them. Focusing on just one event per day, Jason and Kate can travel anywhere in the world to commit the celebration to film. From an engagement session to the big day, the newlyweds will be left with a digital or print album of timeless images to look back on forever. They have also teamed up with a Local Artist, Jon Haug, to provide a Live Wedding portraits (if local) or one of a kind wedding painting of one of your favorite images from the day if you choose to add him to any package.

One half of Jason & Kate Photography, Kate has been around photography most of our life. Her mom and uncle both have their own photography businesses. She picked up her first camera when she was around 10 years old and photography was her hobby for many years. It wasn't until Jason came along and told her she should pursue her passion by buying her her first professional camera that her dream became a reality. 8 years and over 200 weddings later she still loves capturing people's love stories.
Here are a few of her favorite things:
1. Coffee
2. Watching the sunrise and set on the ocean.
3. Snuggling with her rescue pups Wesley & Kodak.
Jason came into his love of photography after he went on many shoots with Kate as her bodyguard/bag carrier/assistant. He really likes to find the small details like with ring shots and the fun candid photos that make people laugh and smile for years. He helped Kate start Jason & Kate Photography in 2014 and has loved it ever since, leaving a full time business job to pursue photography full time.
A few of Jason's favorite things:
1. A good whiskey or bourbon.
2. Listening to a good podcast while editing.
3. Taking Wesley & Kodak for walks by the lake, and bird watching.
