We had an amazing team of vendors, all of whom showed up and delivered for our wedding in a big way. In a group of all-stars, Jamie and her team shone with their professionalism and the sheer quality of the photos they captured. They made everyone feel so comfortable and seemed to know just which angle to get to bring everything to life. Jamie's skill as a photographer and her creative side shows too; for our wedding she had digital, film, and even a drone flying around. It's hard to put into words just how appreciative we are for her work and for capturing images that feel timeless and evoke everything that made our wedding so special.

She photographed our wedding at Carolina Grove & welcome toast at Carolina Theatre, and we’ll treasure her gorgeous photos forever. She is a master of her craft…her photos are filled with vibrant light, colors, love and serendipitous moments. She captures photos on both film & digital, so that you can have both that exquisite textural quality of film, and the wide breadth of photos from all corners that she captures on digital. Jamie and her team (shout out to Sarah & Annah) approached photographing our wedding with so much kindness and sparkling energy, and captured the best moments from all angles and some surprise shots that were better than we could have ever planned. Some examples: She captured us walking back up the aisle together, with our moms on either side smiling on (our new all-time favorite photo), and she even thought to bring props from our welcome toast event to use in lay-down detail photos captured on wedding morning.

She was the ultimate combination of creativity & preparation: coming in with an efficient shot list for family photos, scoping out the venue ahead of time to find the best framing & light, meeting with us for coffee months ahead to get to know us and our love story, and giving us the most beautiful collection of photos in record time. As if that wasn’t enough, she surprised us with a custom wooden box with beautiful prints of our collection that will be our forever wedding keepsake.

We’re so beyond grateful to Jamie for these photos, being such a joy to have by our side on our wedding day, and finding a new friend and creative kindred soul in the process.

From the initial phone call, Jamie was so kind and professional and we felt confident having her capture our special day for us. On the day of, a huge storm came out of nowhere which threw off our timeline slightly. Jamie was the calming presence I needed in those moments and was SO positive. She truly made me feel and know that everything was going to be okay! She kept our timeline moving to get all of the shots we wanted while still allowing us to enjoy our day. She made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we could just be ourselves while she captured it all. Jamie is extremely talented and is such an artist. I look at our wedding photos in disbelief that they are actual ours that we get to cherish forever--not to mention, we get SO many compliments on them! You undoubtedly spend the most time with your photographer out of any other vendor on your wedding day, and we would choose Jamie again in a heartbeat!

100% stop looking and work with Jamie - she is absolutely amazing! On your wedding day, you spend A LOT of time with your photographer and you need to choose somebody who is not only competent but will help make your day better by guiding you through it with kindness. Above all, Jamie was focused on encouraging us to be present and enjoy the moment, rather than worry about logistics, vendors, or guests. Jamie actively helped us enjoy our day and capture that joy beautifully. Her photos are gorgeous, and she captured the candid moments so beautifully. At that time, I did not imagine my wedding would be postponed due to a pandemic. Although this unwelcome turn of events threw much of the wedding planning process off-kilter, Jamie's commitment to my wedding was steadfast. She was flexible and remained enthusiastic about the event at every turn. Jamie has a way of making you feel incredibly special, not just on your wedding day but during all exchanges, no matter how brief. She was responsive to emails and provided a very detailed timeline of all planned photos. On the wedding day, Jamie and her assistants were kind, friendly, and professional. They made me, my husband, and all our friends and family members feel comfortable in front of the lens. Jamie captured our wedding day so perfectly. You can FEEL the emotions in the photos. As everyone says, the big day goes by so fast. Getting my photos back from Jamie, I got to relive our wedding day over and over again. (I have not gone a day without scrolling through!)

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin with Jamie. From the moment Bryce and I met her for our engagement photos, she made you feel like you have known each other forever. She photographed one of our best friends' weddings, so we knew she took amazing wedding photos, but what you could never truly understand until your wedding day is how much of a calming and encouraging presence she is. That is something you absolutely need out of a photographer for your wedding day.

She encouraged me and told me how beautiful I looked, which makes a girl feel good and it helps you look/feel more confident for photos. Which definitely translated! She was like a fly on the wall and got all of the perfect candid photos, as well as all of the "staged" photos. She made those look natural.

Jamie knows her clients well, and knows how to get exactly what you're looking for. If you want low-key, she'll give you low-key. If you want a party, she'll give you a party. I could go on and on about her, but I'll finish with this... out of the almost 1,000 photos we got all together, I have no idea how I will choose which ones to print.
