So this crazy wonderful moment happened to you, you decided to marry your best friend. Now what? All of a sudden you have piles of magazines and that person you talked to once at a bar is asking where their special invitation is. In all of this craziness, you need to find a photographer. But doesn’t that mean spending most of your day reenacting the same photos you see all over the internet? Isn’t it tons of cheesiness or those awkward senior photos we all day that looked nothing like us?

Your wedding day is this single day (or sometimes a few) that is jam-packed with emotions and all of these life-altering changes. Even better, I want you to live in every moment of that while having it documented so you can relive it over and over again.
The way that your best friend looks on as you say your vows or the beaming smiles you exchange with your partner(s) while the chaos of the day is happening around you. The happy dance back down the aisle or your brothers dance move that means he should be switching to drinking water.

Jackie was incredible. We had a pandemic mini-wedding and had to move our main reception to 2021. Jackie actually reached out to us first to check in and send us her calendar so we could instantly roll our deposit and reception date forward once the decision had been made. When the day finally came, she was fantastic. There were so many beautiful moments she captured that I would have never even thought to ask for (and didn’t even realize she was photographing). There were a few moments of family tension that didn’t show up at all in the pictures - my mom and I could have been the only two in the room, rather than the bit of chaos that was actually going on around us. All the pictures are stunning, and I genuinely cried when she sent us the first handful (so we didn’t have to wait for the full gallery to share with family and friends.) All in all this was our biggest budget item besides the venue and food, and it was worth every single penny.

Jackie is the BEST!
I met Jackie at my friend's wedding a couple years ago. I was a bridesmaid, and Jackie was so comfortable to be around, we spent the morning goofing off and generally being ourselves without feeling awkward about someone taking photos of us all day. When I was planning my wedding, I knew I wanted to have Jackie as my photographer. She is so easy to work with and organized, not to mention an incredibly talented photographer. She was so helpful in the months leading up to the wedding answering my questions and helping me figure out a timeline. On the day of, she was such a joy to have with us throughout the day. She captured so many incredible moments that I didn't even notice on the day of. It has been so special going through them all! She went so above and beyond her role as the photographer and we were so comfortable with her, which really shows in how relaxed and joyful we are in all our portraits. I can't recommend Jackie enough!

Art and love
WOW. Where do we even begin with Jackie. From the second she arrived at our hotel the morning of our wedding, she was without a doubt amazing. To start off, our wedding was at St. Aloysius church and the reception was at the Statler. When Jackie arrived she had nothing but positive energy all around. Photography was probably the most nerve wrecking part on our end because my husband and I are sort of awkward and uncomfortable with photos at times! She was able to make us feel extremely comfortable, heard, and special the entire day. She had tips and tricks and was able to help out during the day without making myself or my bridal party feel like we were less superior in wedding knowledge. We have seen and heard about wedding photographers controlling the day and being bossy to get good shots, but this was certainly not the case. She fit in with our group amazingly and made all of us laugh during the process. I even had friends come up to me after the wedding who were guests that complimented her personality and ability to make them feel special. When our blog post went up, we were BLOWN AWAY. The photos captured amazing moments as if you could walk right into the image and be there. They were artistic, unique, and beautiful. I almost was in tears scrolling through the photos because you can actually feel the emotion in them. I cannot put into words how amazing Jacqueline Connor photography is and would refer her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Just Wonderful
Jackie was the photographer for my daughter’s wedding this May. Its hard to express how wonderful she was to work with. Her photographs are gorgeous and a visit to her website speaks for itself as far as her talent goes, but she is also just a delight to be with. She’s incredibly unobtrusive...I can’t actually remember seeing her once the formal posed shots were taken. It was a pleasure to work with her...I can highly recommend.

The most obvious vendor choice we made!
There is no other photographer we wanted at our wedding over Jackie! She sits down and truly gets to know you as a couple and it is reflected in the work she produces. As someone who gets nervous about formal and posed photographs, I can say that Jackie captures moments and emotions, not just poses, and she will make you feel at ease in front of the camera. We went to Jackie for both engagement and wedding photos and each time, friends and family commented not only on how beautiful but on how "us" the pictures were. Our engagement shoot was partially outside during an ice storm - not only did we go ahead with the shoot but the photos and experience were amazing. Our families loved her at the wedding and she was great at managing the giant groups we had, all of which were demanding certain photos by taken. I love that she posts a blog about each couple and still go back and read others story. We also deeply appreciated Jackie's commitment to equality and diversity, which we looked for in our vendors. Jackie is the photographer you MUST have at your wedding!

The best you could ask for!
If I could only say one thing about Jackie, it would be to hire her immediately (and then make her be friends with you). My husband and I got married in Buffalo in July 2018, but we live in Maryland so didn't actually meet her in-person until the wedding day. She held calls with us whenever we needed them, at which point she walked us through the timeline and how to work with other vendors. On the big day, she put everyone at ease, but she also had contingency plans and kept the entire day flowing perfectly, which is no easy feat with families as large as ours. I can't even tell you how many guests approached us to tell us how great Jackie is (which I think doesn't happen often with other photographers?), and my mother actually said "I'm sure she has a great family, but can she join ours?" and still wants her to come over for dinner. Photo turnaround was so so quick, and it doesn't hurt that she was very reasonably priced. We went with 2 photographers for a full day of coverage -- I think she stayed even longer than initially planned, and we wound up with over 1,000 photos that our family and friends can't stop raving about. Seriously, I can't sing her praises enough!!!

The BEST photographer out there!
Where do we even begin... from the first time my husband and I met with Jackie, we knew she was going to be an amazing fit as our photographer for the wedding day! She is so personable and easy to get along with! She also was great at getting back to us if we had any questions or concerns along the way. We first had our engagement pictures done with Jackie - we were a little nervous as we weren't used to getting professional pictures taken, but Jackie made us feel completely at ease! We were so excited to have her booked for the wedding because we knew she captured those amazing, intimate moments in such a perfect way. On our wedding day, she almost was like an additional bridesmaid or wedding coordinator. I was so nervous about the weather and she completely calmed me down, promising it wouldn't rain during the ceremony - and it didn't!
We just received our wedding pictures back a few days ago and we are BLOWN AWAY! Jackie is just so talented and we were and are still impressed with every single photo. Our family and friends are just raving about the pictures. At the end of the night, she was in the middle of the dance floor taking pictures to get some great shots! Overall, we can't recommend Jackie enough. Choose her, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Jackie for everything, you were absolutely amazing!

Jackie was like an extra bridesmaid on my big day. She fixed my hair, makeup, knew what to say to make us all comfortable and laugh when we felt awkward. She’s truly an amazing person and captures all the moments you want to look at forever.

I knew from Jackie's website and her responsiveness that she was going to be amazing so I booked her quickly without ever having met her- best and easiest decision of the wedding planning process so far :) She was flexible and accommodating in scheduling our engagement shoot and even though my fiance and I were nervous about taking pictures she made us feel at ease! On a freezing, windy windy day, in the middle of a crowd of wild sledders, she managed to capture beautiful, beautiful photos that we treasure. Book her! You won't be disappointed!

I'm so glad I found Jackie through the Buffalo Indie Wedding bridal show! I did see her work prior as an acquaintance used her for her wedding and I recognized the couple from Jackie' display at the bridal show.
I was so adamant in supporting a local, smaller business rather than paying a large group to take my wedding photos where I was just another client. With Jackie, she makes everything very personal and unique to each client and wedding. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and their wedding desires. She is very responsive to questions. Also, prior to the wedding she sent a questionnaire regarding timelines, locations, photo requests and it really made the day flow much easier. Jackie also stayed with us literally the entire day, from getting ready in the morning until the reception died down. I can't thank Jackie enough and would recommend her work to anyone looking for a photographer!
