I chose Jacob to be my photographer for my engagement photos as well as the wedding day. Knowing that my husband is very picky on the quality and creativity of photos, i was confident that Jacob will be the perfect guy to help us with this "project". I called this project cuz the first time we met with Jacob, it was a 4 hours meeting!! Jacob gave us sooooo many great and crazy ideas not only for the photography service, but also the wedding theme & invitation designs. Jacob even spent time to go shopping with us in order to find the best outfit for the engagement photos. We got so many compliments on the engagement photos!!!! Jacob was the best wedding photographer I have ever worked with. He was creative, flexible, fun, and is a true artist. We both felt relaxed and enjoyed the entire session. I would highly recommend to any bride or any event planner. He is quite simply the best I have ever seen!

Jacob truly is the best at what he does!!!!! He takes the most beautiful photos and really tries to give his clients the best! He goes above and beyond... he would stay an extra hour, even though he wasnt being payed. His photography is truly his art so he puts extra TLC into every client. He took over a thousand photos on my wedding day and all of them are amazing. He has blown me away each time. i did an E session, Boudoir photos, Save the date photos, and the wedding photos with him and I love them all!!!!! I also purchased an album from him and am really excited to see the end result!
He is also pretty cheap compared to other photographers! He for sure is the BEST in his class, by far!!! Bottom line is that you will be blown away by him and his work no matter what. My family and friends are just in awe of my wedding photos.

How can I start with Sun Shine(nickname I gave him because he is always smiling) We originally hired Jacob as a wedding photographer, but as my fiance and I got to know Jacob on how lovely and talented he was..My fiance and I decided to also get him to do our wedding invitations, engagement session and now after the wedding our "trash the dress" session .We knew that this was the guy that we could TRUST on no matter what we needed! he will be there for us. Jacob was always available to us, he always picked up our phone calls and always solved any kind of question that we had... It all began with our letter press wedding invitations!! I decided to get materials on my own because I wanted an specific color.. as I figured that it wasn't as "easy" as I thought it would be ..I didn't have materials available when he asked for them I had just gotten the right kind of paper and when I finally delivered the paper for the invitations ...I was very LATE... In fact I showed up on his door step very late at night and he opened the door to me(pls don't do this..I was panicking) .It was all my fault .but he figured out how to get the work done so I can send my invitations on time . Jacob and his wife Livia stayed up all night working on my invitations ..and somehow ..He still delivered on TIME ?.and for that I will be eternally grateful !!!!!!!!!!! Jacob designed a one of a kind invitation for us and Our invitations were beautiful!!!!I Perhaps, there are more than words that can describe our gratitude. Jacob was such an amazing photographer; he was nice, diligent, sweet, professional and always, always there!! I was panicking the day of the wedding..but Jacob made me feel confident and he had everything under control . He keep everybody on their toes ..thanks to him we were not late for the ceremony?(first time in my life that I was on time for something). And I Cannot forget the fact that his pictures, the Japanese handmade signing book, were adorable and were personalized with letter press for us ?everything was one of a kind just like my fairy tale wedding and If you are the kind of bride that need to be in constant contact with your vendors (if you are a perfectionist, and u have been planning your wedding for years ?.HE IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU. The only regret after my wedding was that I didn?t hired Jacob as a main shooter , he was my second shooter ?we got pretty good shots but not the complete magic. Reason why he wasn?t haired as a main shooter was because; we had hired a photo-videographer before meeting Jacob so we couldn?t back down on the other one?..Never the less, I recommend Jacob 200% !!!!
He is affordable, he always has promotions, and he just simply the BEST!!!!

I love to meet people who are postive, have good energy, and are truly genuine. When you meet Jacob you just know that he is completley passionate about his work, you dont feel pressured at all to book with him, he makes you feel so comfortable. So I booked him for my e session and my wedding. I was somewhat worried for the e session because my husband is a little timid, but he completly came out of his shell, Jacob just has this comfortability about him, he is just a blast to work with. My husband and I just a had so much fun at are e session, not only that are pictures came out beautiful. He just has his mine set on getting that perfect shot and he works so hard to get all those little details in, I love it! What more can I say, he is truly amazing. Also I recieved my wedding pictures within two weeks, I could not believe it and they are wonderful.
You know every girl dreams of that perfect day, not only that to have those lasting memories, he captured all that and more. I could not have asked for anything more in a photographer.

One more thing when you meet him two weeks later after the wedding, he makes this beatiful story telling book of your wedding. Just to show how amazing Jacob's work is. I showed my Aunts the picture that he gave us and they got chills and even cried because he capture those unforgatable moments that go on your wedding day, and makes them come alive again through his pictures. Just look at the images they say it all!

My husband and I had already predetermined our choice of our wedding photographer. But upon meeting Jacob at a bridal show, we decided on the spot that we wanted Jacob. His creativity, artistic talent and use of light is phenomenal. Jacob is very professional, friendly, easy to work with, accommodating and he gives 100+%. His is a god-given talent and you will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to have him capture images of your wedding.

After viewing our pictures, I've had so many friends and family ask me who took our wedding pictures and I have unequivocally referred them all to Jacob.

It may sound crazy but we set our wedding day based on Jacob's availability, and we did that even before meeting with him. I just had this gut feeling when I saw his amazing pictures in his website.

And I don't regret trusting my instincts. First of all, Jacob is such a hard worker. He gives more than a 100% effort to get the 'killer' shot. And for every photo session, he does nail it.

I want to emphasize what kind of a photographer Jacob is. He is a dedicated and gifted 'artist' and takes very creative pictures. We see pictures as people posing in front of the camera, he sees it differently. He sees people, inanimate objects, the light, an ordinary wall and finds a way to blend them all together to get the perfect shot. He is not your ordinary photographer who will just take group table pictures and close up shots of your faces. You will find yourself looking at pictures that are extraordinary. If you check out his website, each couple has a picture that is one of a kind that they can truly call their own, and if that is what you want, then Jacob is your man.

Even though my wedding was three months ago, I continue to check his website for his latest esession and wedding pictures so I could admire his work.

With Jacob you get so much more than your money's worth. He is definitely one of the best, if not the best, out there!

Jacob took our wedding photos and he did an awesome job. We LOVE each and every single images he captured/created for us - they are distinctly artistic and elegant. He's upbeat, hardworking and will do anything to get the 'shots' on important moments even to the smallest details we had on our weddings. I've followed his works over the years and I can see his passion on what he is doing and he pours out a lot of time and energy into it. And also, for the rate he's offering - I'd say it's very reasonable for the excellent quality images/service he's delivering to his clients. Not to mention that his turnaround time is incredibly fast! He would do anything humanly possible to make his clients happy. We were married on March 22nd, '09 then we went on our honeymoon for less than 2 weeks and when we got back, he already had our photos ready for us to be picked up.

On a side note - being an aspiring photographer myself, I gotta admit that this guy is very knowledgeable and resourceful in his area of expertise. He totally knows what he's doing and he does it beautifully. Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most important elements when you're planning your wedding - I would highly recommend Jacob Galleries as your wedding photographer!
