The search for a photographer probably took the longest and was the MOST effort for my husband and I. After looking through so many different photographers and their styles, I knew that I wanted a light, bright and airy type of photography style, but so many photographers I saw were completely out of my price range.

With a lot of luck, I stumbled upon Izida on WeddingWire. From the get go, she was super responsive and we immediately set up a Zoom call so we could get to know each other. From just meeting her, I could tell Izida was such a kind and caring person and she really loved photography. I was worried about booking a photographer who would treat my husband and I just like any other client, but Izida really made us feel so special and she really wanted to get to know us.

Izida’s package was budget-friendly and truly had tons of value, especially since she includes an engagement session and a venue walkthrough. She even checked in with us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process just to see how it was all going and to see if she could help us find any vendors or ask any questions.

Izida truly went above and beyond and I haven’t even gotten to how beautiful her photography is yet!!! I have already looked at our engagement photos and wedding photos 10+ times and they bring me back to the wedding day and capture so many of the moments that we missed on the day of. Not to mention that Izida gave us a sneak peek of our photos just a few days after the wedding day and even gave us ALL of our wedding photos just a few weeks after our wedding - I don’t know how she does it with such a crazy schedule!

Overall, would 1000000% recommend Izida! She’s the best :)

We had an incredible experience with Izida as our wedding photographer. Everything about it felt top-notch and high-end.

From the initial consultation, Izida took the time to understand what we wanted, the vision we had, and when we didn't have much of the vision, she provided recommendations and suggestions. She provided advice on what to wear and how to prepare. I felt super taken care of during the initial process and like she really knew what she was doing.

Then came our engagement shoot. Izida was REALLY good at directing us and helping us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We'd had another photographer do our first engagement photos who also did good work but was SO BAD at directing, we also wore the wrong clothes and just didn't prepare. So having Izida actually PREP us ahead of time - magical. We also loved how fun she was, she was easy-going yet focused and just easy to be around which is obviously important for such a big day.

Then, Izida met with me for our venue walkthrough in Escondido. She was thorough and detailed about looking for options for photos. You can tell she really cares about her clients.

And lastly, our wedding day. She has a VISION!! She had great ideas and presented them well, she stuck to the timeline - she was probably better at sticking to the timeline than our wedding coordinator which is very impressive. She was on point, got fantastic shots, directed us well, and the results? I mean, the results speak for themselves.

We are IN LOVE with our photos. The editing style is consistent and beautiful. She knows how to capture the right angles and make people's inner sparkle come through. Her work is absolutely brilliant and I will be surprised if she doesn't soon start charging 5x her current rates. She is that good!

I honestly feel like some of the photos, especially the B&W ones look like they're right out of a magazine.

I can’t say enough great things about Izida. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our 9/17/21 wedding. From the moment we first reached out to her, she responded with a sense of urgency. Any text or email we sent her was responded to quickly and enthusiastically. We did an engagement shoot with her first and we were blown away by the results. She is so incredibly talented and knew how to guide us perfectly. She was on time for both our engagement shoot and our wedding and captured our wedding perfectly. The way she captured the moments pretty much brought us to tears. Her turnaround time was also incredible. I believe we got our engagement pictures a week after our session and our wedding pictures were sent three weeks after the wedding. She even sent us sneak peaks while we were on our honeymoon! Her prices are also extremely reasonable. A wedding is such a special day and you want to make sure the person you hire to capture it, is reliable and trustworthy. Izida is that person and we’re so lucky to have found her.

My husband and I chose to have Izida photograph our elopement. She was very professional, kind, and extremely helpful in guiding us through the photography (as we both have never done a professional photo session before). We felt very comfortable with her and are so happy that she was the photographer present for our special day. We did not feel rushed at any point and her presence kept the occasion very calm and intimate as we hope for. Izida was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to take the photos we wanted. The pictures truly captured the most important moments of the ceremony and us as a couple. We highly recommend Izida!

Izida is a great photographer and a human being. I found her through FB group, I posted my request and she responded shortly.
