About
The Interfaith Clergy Network was founded in Cherry Hill, New Jersey over 50 years ago (1971) by Rabbi Shimon L. Berris and Reverend Justin Herbst both of blessed memory. They recognized the opportunity to assist couples and their families by co-officiating together at inter-religious life cycle celebrations and events (Jewish - Catholic - Protestant). Since the inception of our ecumenical clergy group, our rabbis, cantors, priests, deacons, and ministers have officiated individually and as partners at countless Wedding Celebrations, Namings and Baptisms, Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies, and Memorial Services throughout the United States and in several other countries as well. Now directed by Cantor Neil A. Berris, our current roster includes 23 seminary educated and ordained clergy, with years of compassionate service and experience in synagogues, temples, parishes, congregations, and chaplaincies.
