Our ceremony was held in the Simon Reading Room of the Central Library, downtown Indianapolis. We could not have picked a more gorgeous venue! All of our guests raved about the venue. They could not believe how beautiful everything was. We didn't need any decorations because the room is just so naturally stunning. Jenelle was our coordinator and she was absolutely perfect! Along with our officiant, Janelle helped run the entire rehearsal and the entire ceremony. We would not have had a perfect day without Janelle and the library staff. The professionalism and kindness they showed my husband and I can't be found anywhere else. We are so very grateful and would recommend this venue and their staff to anyone!

I’m so glad we decided to have our wedding at the library. The space is gorgeous. The Simon Reading Room was the perfect setting for gothic, elegant wedding. Our guests raved about how beautiful it was. One of the selling points for having our wedding at the library was having the entire space on our wedding day. Some venues have multiple events or weddings take place on the same the day and while the library could definitely accommodate multiple events, having it all to ourselves was great!

The staff was wonderful to work with. They were open to our out of the box ideas and provide guidance in execution, which turned out flawlessly. Janelle was great to work with. She was prompt with communication response time and provided informed answers. She stayed late an evening before the wedding to test the lighting with us and answered all of our last minute questions. Our wedding went flawlessly, with the help of the library’s team. I wish I could have two weddings so I could have another reason throw an event at the library!

I loved my wedding reception. The Indianapolis Public Library was perfect. We had our reception in the Simon Reading Room, and it was better than I even imagined it would be. We wanted our wedding to feel very cozy and intimate, and the library was a beautiful backdrop. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our guests were very impressed and had a great time!
