Theresa was amazing! Such a nice presence on our wedding day and made everything go smoothly, even with a few hiccups. The best thing about her was the team of vendors she assembled - recommended an incredible DJ, had her son bartend, and helped us with the caterer, photographer, and florist as well. The group working our wedding brought great energy and were a big part of the day. She helped us make the most of our budget and put together a great looking event without a spending a lot on decor, including a beautiful balloon arch by her and her assistant.

Theresa is detail oriented. She listened to us, especially when we described to her what we wanted as a theme for our wedding. She offered her insight. We enjoyed working with her especially with the vision of what we had in mind for the arch. Theresa is super pleasant and offered her expertise in helping to keep costs down. We had already booked the venue and the photographer by the time we consulted with her. She recommended a fabulous DJ and florist. Theresa kept the momentum going and worked tirelessly throughout the day. We recommend her very much and are so pleased with the memories she helped create with our wedding day. Thank you!

Theresa helped me plan my wedding. She was excellent at listening to my ideal wedding and directed me to the venue of my dream! She took care of everything which allowed me to relax and be in the moment. She kept me up on everything and she brought up things I would never thought of! I am thankful for her. I don't know how i'd gotten through this without her. Along the way, I have made a friend. I would totally recommond Theresa!

It is difficult to know where to begin. We feel we have been completely ripped off & bamboozled. One-star rating is already too high. The “Theresa” in the positive reviews is not the one we received, which begs us to question the validity of those reviews. Very similar to Jake G.’s review on 6/10/2022, disappointed does not even come close to the reality of our experience. The ineptitude & level of incompetence was astonishing. She was hired for the day of the wedding. Two family members & I came to help her set up that morning. At the beginning we wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt; however, that became increasingly difficult as the day went on. In the first 4 hours she was there, she ironed a handful of round tablecloths & set up a few glasses. Table set up & placement, decorations, extensive lighting set up, decor of cake & bridal party tables, and the details she was hired to take care of were NONEXISTENT. The additional bride & groom’s family members & friends who arrived ended up doing her job up until an hour from the start of the ceremony. She had zero knowledge of the itinerary & order of events for the day, which were provided to her well in advance. She was instructed to minimally decorate the church which was only 1 mile from the reception hall with a few flower placements that were already provided and did not fulfill these duties either. We were absolutely HORRIFIED!!! She did not assist in seating guests, nor did she perform ANY of the duties required during the reception. At one point the bride gave her specific instructions to place some finger foods out for the guests, and this did not happen, as we later found the food in the refrigerator. Her appearance was disheveled: hair uncombed, attire unprofessional for a wedding, mannerisms questionable. She did not have an approachable demeanor, she lacked leadership and did not direct any events during the wedding or reception. It felt like she didn’t even care. The hired food servers were unaware that a wedding coordinator had even been hired for the day. Several of our guests pulled us aside during the reception due to her strange behavior: A guest noticed she had gone to the bathroom & stayed absent for an extended period of time during the reception. Another guest found her sitting in her car on her phone in the parking lot for a long time and had to tell her to go back to her “job.” Needless to say, it felt like a complete waste of money!! She definitely added to our stress & did not fulfill all of her contractual obligations. Brides BEWARE!!! I would HATE for this to happen to another bride on her special day. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I did not decide to leave a personal and written out review until another bride reached out to us about a lawsuit against Theresa Davis.
I had more complaints about her as a day of coordinator than anything else - no other complaints about the wedding ironically except about the coordinator. It was really a liability to have her there. No bride wants to hear complaints from 5-7 people complaining about their day of coordinator. She did not reach out to any vendors until the day before. She did not give a day of schedule. This was all part of her contract, and when I pointed out she did not fulfill this, she went full guilt trip mode about her personal life (which I will elaborate on later). She was not able to contribute to an excel document that I made to make her job easier. She asked repetitions of basic questions (how many tables? At least three different times) constantly as the day approached even though I had reached out to her several months earlier - so disorganized. Day of, she was in Jean shorts and a t shirt and appeared unkept at a formal event - people were wondering what she was doing there. She did not follow through on basic things. She would reach out to me day of the wedding to give her directions on things I already discussed about. Family members described her “clueless, disheveled, under-dress, confused” that “she wasn’t doing her job” and that she “barely helped at all” and “didn’t seem to know what was going on” and that “they hope I got my money back.” Once my family left an honest review on another website, she basically responded “no way you’re getting anything back now!!”

I should have gone with my gut - sometimes Teresa would sound awake on the phone while talking to her, other times she sounded extremely tired and “not all there” on multiple occasions even during normal workday hours. I should have been tipped off something was wrong. She brought up lots of personal problems via text to make excuses of things she did not follow through on, which ended up falling on me. Also, though Teresa breached her contract, she refused to compensate me even a penny. Please, do not rely on her for your special day. My day was absolutely beautiful and people who weren’t even there say they heard how beautiful it was, and other guests commented on how well organized it was too (again, I had gone to great lengths the week before the wedding communicating with everyone, because Theresa, once paid, seemed to not be on top of her duties). I will still have the most wonderful memories of my wedding day thanks to my wonderful husband, family, friends, and all the little things that just happened to work out thanks to God. But I should have gone with my gut - and trusted someone else. Unfortunately, my family was really upset with Theresa for me, and that’s on them, but Theresa also was extremely rude to me via text after the wedding, which was likewise extremely unprofessional after she found out about my family’s review (they worked with her, insulating me from her day of fortunately). After the wedding, would also text things like “I have so many personal expenses to pay and your family’s reviewed single handedly ruined my business” even though she had other bad reviews on other websites like the Knott. This is not professional behavior, and I wish brides so much better than this!
