I honestly don't know anything else they could've done to go above and beyond. They helped us girls get ready, and took control when our officiant didn't show to distract people. They were there every step of the way and did EVERYTHING to get the photos. I felt like they were there specifically for me and felt at ease the whole time. The few photos we saw looked AMAZING and we can't wait to see the rest!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Mark Wilder for both our engagement and wedding photos and we can’t recommend him enough. At each stage, the experience was exemplary for how it combined professionalism with creativity/artistic vision all the while deeply considering and caring for what my wife and I wanted.

The planning was careful and made us feel confident in the way the day would flow. The way we were coordinated and positioned for our photos resulted in some truly stunning images. Mark noticed so much of the environment and how we could interact it with it in order to capture something beautiful on camera. He displayed imagination, curiosity, and passion for both his craft and for delivering us something we’ll cherish in the years to come.

We first met with Dan about six months before our wedding. From that very first meeting, we were beyond confident in choosing him to capture our big day. He sat down with us at his studio, generously taking the time to get to know us, our interests, and our relationship. He never came across as someone just trying to make a sale, but rather, someone genuinely passionate about his craft and excited to share it. He explained various photography styles, discussed his experience, and shared his love for his work. His portfolio was impressive on its own, but we left that first meeting completely sold on the photographer behind it.

Our complimentary engagement session was wonderful. To start, Dan was extremely accommodating of our busy weekday schedules. He helped select the perfect location and immediately made us feel at ease. The session was highly enjoyable and resulted in beautifully natural photos that made us feel incredible. We incorporated them heavily into our invitations and decor, and they received plenty of praise from our family and friends.

The wedding day itself was, naturally, the peak of our Daniel Michael experience. Leading up to the event, Dan was communicative and incredibly helpful in creating a photography schedule that fit perfectly with a busy wedding timeline. Having already worked with him during our engagement shoot, we knew how easy he made it to smile, how creative he was at finding the best angles, and how personable and hilarious he could be in the process. We are delighted to report that our wedding party and families walked away echoing that exact sentiment. Daniel and his two wonderful assistants skillfully navigated multiple rotating casts of family members, changing weather conditions, and plenty of wedding party hijinks.

We can comfortably say that by the time the reception was underway, Dan was as much a guest as he was our photographer. He seamlessly blended into the crowd while capturing the evening, chatted and joked, and even sang a little karaoke with us. We hired a photographer and came away with a friend. We cannot recommend Images by Daniel Michael highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

Lauren was amazing! We also loved our 2nd shooter Tahje! Lauren went above and beyond to make sure I had the best day ever. She was more than a photographer- Lauren handled the family drama so professionally and seamlessly, which is a hard skill to come by! She helped calm me down and got me back into a good headspace after some family issues occurred. She advocated for me from the beginning to the very end. She truly made my day so much better. Lauren was extremely understanding and patient as well. We had very large families to photograph and she was somehow able to get everyone in position in an efficient manner. Lauren- I truly appreciate you so much! When things didn’t go as originally planned, you were so calm and came up with solutions quickly! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LAUREN to be your photographer!!!! Having someone who is caring and understanding (in addition to being an AMAZINGLY TALENTED photographer) makes a huge difference in the experience!!!!! Thank you again!!!! We will 100% use Daniel Michael Photography again, and definitely recommend Lauren!

Truthfully, I can't say enough good things about Daniel Michael and Casey, our photographers for our engagement photos and our special day. At every stage of the planning process and during the whirlwind of the actual day, he made things actively easier for us and demonstrated himself to be not only a true professional in the wedding arena, but a fantastic individual who effortlessly blended into the dynamics of our family and friends.
Already, from only what we've seen of the photos so far, I am awestruck at the way Daniel brought out a type of smile from me that I have no other photos of. I've been told I have a soft smile and can be somewhat self conscious when posing for photos, but Daniel erased every bit of that feeling. The entire day was magical, and I can't imagine anyone else being able to capture what he did.
My family and friends had a great time during photos, he made us laugh, he made us comfortable, and he captured it all.
Simply put, it was a blast, and he was a key part of it all. Beyond worthy of being integrated into our memories of the best day of our lives. Daniel, WE MISS YOU ALREADY!!!

We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable, cared for, and completely confident that every special moment would be captured. Our wedding day was busy and rushed, but somehow he managed to take an incredible number of photos, capture all of the important moments, pay attention to every little detail, and still keep us right on schedule. Looking through our photos feels like reliving our wedding day all over again.
What makes it even more special is that he has become more than just our photographer—he has become a family friend, and we are so grateful that someone we genuinely care about was there to capture one of the most important days of our lives! 5 stars doesn’t even feel like enough!

We have known Dan for a long time and anyone who has met Dan knows that he loves what he does. The pride and passion he has for his work is something so exciting to see in any setting, but it wasn’t until I was one of his brides that I really got to see Dan in his element and that I was able to really understand how much he is committed to his couples. From the beginning of the process with our engagement session, Dan was excited to be there and excited to capture beautiful shots to celebrate us. As we got closer to the day, he never added stress or anxiety to us and actively removed so much. His professionalism, planning, and expertise showed through even more as we had our planning meeting 2 weeks out from the wedding. He has everything mapped and planned, didn’t need us to come up with a shot list, only asked if there were any specific ones we wanted. Everything was based around us.
On the wedding day, he and his team were on time, wide awake and ready to roll. Tyler was our candid photographer and he somehow managed to be so fun and happy, while also slipping into the background to capture hidden little moments. Jenna, my bridal bestie, was the rock for the day for them. She was calm, cool, collected and was able to provide me with some peace in the chaos. The whole team was prepared and operated like a well-oiled machine, and I never had to make any decisions or think at all with them, because they knew what to do. Jenna anticipated my needs, sometimes even before I needed them, and Tyler was smiling and snapping photos as we went. Dan, however, was the star, which is surprising to no one who has met him. He kept it fun, made sure everyone was laughing, and everyone was comfortable. You could tell his experience through the way he directed us to pose, and it avoided having to take multiple shots. There was no guess work on his end, if he took the photo, he knew it was perfect. I wanted to add that detail to this review because I don’t typically love getting my picture taken and multiple retakes creates a lot of anxiety. Dan helped me have fun with getting my picture taken and made me feel like the most beautiful bride.
Dan has built his reputation brick by brick and he lives up to it 10x over. There is so much pride and love that he puts into his weddings, and his team supports him in spreading that throughout the day. Speaking to friends and coworker who have had him at weddings they all agree that Dan is the man, and Dan remembers every single one, even recalling a bride from 10 years ago that my coworker was a bridesmaid for. All his couples, especially his brides, are so precious to him. If you have any doubts about including Dan, or any members of his team, please know that besides the beautiful product they will create, they will create memories and laughs, all while alleviating stress and anxiety for the bride and wedding party.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photographer, Larry! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured every special moment beautifully.

His attention to detail and creativity really shine through in the photos. He managed to capture not only the big moments but also all the little candid memories that we’ll treasure forever. Larry and Tyler were amazing on our wedding night! They were super nice and got along with everyone perfectly. They were also fun people to be around and made our night very enjoyable! Their prices were great and I recommend them 100%!

Our experience with Images by Daniel Michael has been wonderful. We live out of state so had to do most of the wedding planning by phone and video call, but it was all very well communicated and easy. Our main photographer was Jenna and she was great. Communicated poses well and the photos we have seen (engagement) have looked so beautiful. I needed breaks and to sit more and she was really accommodating and helped me plan around that need. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting professional photos. Thank you for helping make my wedding so memorable!
