When we first made the decision to have a backyard wedding, we felt anxious about all the logistics and felt that we had so many blind spots. I am a visual person and often had issues telling her the things I liked and she truly could read my mind and always came to me with exactly what I was trying to visualize. We hired Lia for her full planning and design services and we are so thankful that we did! We waited 3 months into wedding planning to hire Lia. Biggest mistake EVER! I would have hired her the day after we got engaged if I would have known how amazing she is. Since day one, Lia was absolutely perfect. She was so helpful, organized, and knowledgeable that it blew us away! I knew right after meeting her that she would be the perfect fit to help us create our perfect day and accommodate our destination wedding.

She went out of her way to immediately start researching vendors in the San Diego Area, even offering vendor suggestions from here in Vegas that were all amazing. I could text Lia at 10 pm and she would immediately reply whether it was to offer advice, answer a question or just calm me down.

Lia was so prompt and on the ball with every single vendor, she made us feel like we were in the best hands throughout the whole process. She also helped keep me on track with making decisions and helping offer new ideas if I was unsure about something. This made the whole week before the wedding basically a breeze! Lia was the absolute best! When I first thought about getting everything ready for our big day, I knew I had to find help. Working full-time and having a child was enough, so we began our search in looking for a full-service wedding planner. We had met with a few planners, but Lia and our chemistry hit it off right away. After we hired Lia, I knew I wasn't going to regret it. Things were getting so real, we were so happy! We originally knew exactly where we wanted to get married. We wanted to get married at this place because it was the perfect venue (or so we thought) for us. I wanted an outdoor, whimsical, rustic, wedding with hints of Disney. So we locked in the venue, and worked with Lia's recommendation of Suzanne with She Paperie, who made us beautiful Save the Dates. We began to plan out decor, and getting little details planned out. About 4 months out from our wedding date, we began receiving bad news... rumors began about our venue. I was pulling into Disneyland hotel when I received the call from Lia. They were canceling weddings last minute and the same day I even had a vendors emailing me asking if our wedding was still on. So we immediately got in contact with the venue and they reassured us that everything was fine. Well two weeks after this, we began to worry. Their website was down, their Facebook page went missing and reviews started coming in. What were we going to do? We had already chose decorations, we already sent out Save the Date, secured deposits, chose our cake design, ETC. Luckily, we ended up getting our deposit back but now we had no venue. We contemplated eloping and even changing everything to a destination wedding. Lia was so patient and immediately started sending us venues that she thought would still match our theme. She reassured that everything was going to be okay, and that our wedding would be better. Everything happens for a reason was our mindset. She ended up recommending so many places and we didn't like any. Just our luck right? So the last place she recommended we were like what do we have to lose? Well, we ended up LOVING the venue and securing it. We were about 2 months away and we had no time to wait. What we thought our wedding was going to look like completely changed. We originally chose light colors and changed to dark. We originally had a rustic theme, and now it was elegant. To be completely honest, if it wasn't for Lia, I don't think a wedding would have happened, and for her to say STILL like it's ok if we don't... was so comforting. It wasn't about what we lost it was about our happiness.

Lia will be one of my best memories planning a wedding. She was my confidant. She was my rock. She is someone that wants what's best for you, and for a couple. She took ideas and made them reality. She is just so sweet and so organized. She will definitely be on top of everything and MORE. She really is about the details and the little things that you didn't realize would make a difference (like custom napkins) really give your wedding the extraness you didn't know you needed.

We hired Lia to do our 60-day coordination for our wedding in December. Even though we hired her just for the 60-days out, she started helping us with vendor suggestions immediately after we hired her in March. Lia took the time to meet up with me for lunch to talk about how I envisioned the wedding and what I wanted the overall feel to be. Over the months leading up to the wedding, Lia would check in periodically to make sure we were on track with hiring our vendors and with planning the big day. About a month before the wedding we had a meeting with Lia to finalize all vendors and details for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. The week of our wedding our venue let us know that we would no longer be able to set up for our wedding the night before (something they had told us we could do all along) because they had an event in the space that night. I panicked as I hadn’t shared how I planned to lay out the room with anyone. Lia came to my rescue and said she was able to do all of the set up while I was getting ready on the morning of. I sent her pictures of mocked up tables and she made my exact vision come to life. Lia also kept all of our vendors on time and helped our day run smoothly, even when things didn’t go to plan. I couldn’t imagine having my wedding day without Lia, having her there allowed me and my now husband to enjoy our day without having to worry about anything. Lia even helped us with clean up when our reception was coming to a close. We are very grateful to have had Lia for our day-of coordination, she really made the day worry-free.
