I hired HumanArtwork (Henry) because the lighting at our venue could be tricky (windows behind the wedding stage, dim "mood" lighting) and loved his work for a friend's wedding at the same venue. He also did our engagement shoot, and his coworker, Ethan, did our wedding videography. My husband and I felt kind of nervous posing for photos, but Henry and Ethan made us feel as comfortable as possible. They guided us with clear instruction but did so in a way that was very professional and far from demanding. During our wedding, we hardly noticed when they were taking action shots and video. I loved the way the photos and video came together!

Say no more, just book it. Our photographer Henry was beyond amazing. Worth every penny, our wedding day was so relaxing and thought free, Henry was on top of every photo and angle. All we had to do was follow his direction. Our engagement photos were also breathtaking, he even mapped out the sub for the perfect moment, I mean who does that?!? Highly recommend

My wife and I have VERY high expectations and we can be extremely particular. I can definitely be a Groomzilla (no shame), but none of this matters. You know why?

Henry and Ethan were phenomenal and were easily one of the best things about our wedding. We doubted quite a few choices in the planning process of our wedding, but never once was HumanArtwork one of them because they are attentive to detail, listen to what you want, but able to guide if need be, knowledgeable and passionate, prompt and professional, funny and charismatic dudes! Make you feel super comfortable which leads to better pics/ shots, Henry (photos) and Ethan (video) work super well together. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. They're extremely subtle when taking pics or filming (unlike other amateur photographers / videographers that are super intrusive) and they're very hard workers

Saving the best for last... Henry and Ethan honestly became our friends. They weren't just some random vendor we never talk to again. We still keep in contact with them via social media/ text and they genuinely care about us, as well as the rest of their clients.

Once again, seriously stop searching. You found the one.

Henry from Human Artwork did my engagement pictures and my wedding photos and I was very pleased with his work. His style of photography is very creative and makes for very dramatic photos. We did our engagement shoot on the sand dunes of Pismo Beach and they were breathtaking! Henry also has a gift at capturing touching candid moments... some of the photos from my wedding brought tears to my eyes. He also did my sister's wedding and she had a much larger bridal party than I did ( 1 vs 9). Even with all the girls, not to mention the groomsmen, he captured wonderful moments with the bride in the bridal suite and with everyone together with our family. I would say the most interesting thing about Henry's style is that he is invisible. To the point where you are left wondering if he was even around for the wedding! But lo and behold, once the photos come in you realize that he was actually everywhere and just blends in seamlessly. He is affordable compared to others in the industry but you get way more than what you pay for. Thanks Henry!

Henry is the whole package! I booked him about 16 months before my wedding (long engagement) and he did our engagement photos and wedding day. We received our photos within a month! I've already received so many compliments. I can't wait to print them out. THANK YOU HENRY!!

Look no further for a photographer! Henry was the best vendor we hired for our wedding. He was able to meet us that worked for our schedule, and every meeting after he was super accommodating. We went through what we wanted for our photos and they came out perfectly and exactly what we wanted. Henry is amazing at capturing emotions and moments that we want to remember forever. He also was very knowledgeable on what poses would work for us and which poses work for group photos. You never felt like he was in the way, but somehow he was able to capture every important moment. Our photos are my favorite part of our wedding. You can tell how good quality they are as well, every guest and my family love the photos and cant believe how wonderful they are. Henry said he could shoot our engagement photos but since we had already done ours, he shot our rehearsal dinner which was amazing as well. We could not be happier with our choice to hire Henry!!

We were so lucky to have Henry and Ren with us on our big day 6-24-16. Lucky for me that I somehow found them online. One of the biggest highlights of the day was working with them and their warm smiles and kind hearts. What sweet guys!!! The biggest highlight post wedding has been receiving all the breathtaking photos of our whole day.

I can't rave about them enough as people and artists...simply 100% all around. Henry met with us a couple of times at our venue and was always very quick to respond to any questions via email or text. If I had to do everything all over again I'd keep these guys in my pocket the whole way through. Thanks a million times for everything Henry!! XO
