Scott did an absolutely amazing job helping me plan, execute, and capturing a surprise beach proposal for my now fiance during our stay in Maui. He was extremely accommodating and responded very promptly to my questions and concerns. He even picked out the absolutely perfect location, which he visited the evening prior to ensure the proper lighting, lack of overcrowding, and scoped out an ideal hiding spot for himself so there were no hiccups the day of. On the day of the proposal, he arrived half an hour early to the spot and everything went way better than I could have ever dreamed! She was extremely surprised, didn't see him capturing the moment until 1-2 minutes after saying "YES" and then we did some other candid and staged pictures on the beach. I would absolutely recommend Scott for any events but especially surprise proposals! He was extremely professional throughout the process and was exactly what I was looking for, not to mention his prices were much more fair than many of the people I spoke with. Lastly, the photos look absolutely amazing and were ready for download very soon after our shoot. We are considering coming back for the wedding and will definitely be contacting Scott for that!!

Scott was not only highly professional, but he filled in all the blanks for us. We had a small party, on the beach, and we really had little idea what pictures we wanted. He showed us some albums which helped a lot. The sunset silhouette pictures were spectacular and he had the timing down perfectly - to the second. It was a second marriage for both of us and not being in our 20's, we were perhaps not as unselfconscious as some. He put us completely at ease, he was so personable. He advised us how to get the pictures without leaving anyone/thing out yet not taking unnecessary shots. He took some really creative unique arty shots we wouldn't have thought of - like our slack key guitarists's guitar - a shot that should be on a cover. It's awesome and memorable.
