Launched in the summer of 2013 HQ Photography was started by OEF Veteran & Photographer Josh Quint, and Springfield Fashion Photographer Harris Davey Jr. Whether we are photographing a couple for a newly announced engagement, or doing a family photo session, the reason we are professional photographers is because we want to capture and convey emotion. Sometimes the emotion is one of raw determination as a baby smashes a cup cake for her first birthday and other times it’s the joy in the laughter of a small child as she plays with a sibling or parent. Either way, what grabs us as the photographer, and what we hope we are able to convey to you as the viewer, is a special moment in time where light, environment, and composition all combine to recreate emotion.
And that’s why we're photographers---to capture those moments so that years later when you see the photographs those emotions will once again come to life.
