Our daughter and son-in-law did most of their wedding planning themselves. My husband and I LOVED the DJ team, of Kelly and Susan Howe, that the couple chose! Kelly wore a suit, and Susan wore a dress. That doesn't seem like a big deal but it just added to their professionalism and the elegance they brought to the evening as the DJ and emcee team! They were so attentive to the bride and groom and both we, as parents of the bride, and the groom's parents, asking if we needed a refill on drinks, tending to our every need, emceeing the night's events with such brilliant ease and classiness. WOW! I couldn't wait to give them a glowing review, hoping that others will read the review and say "Howe Weddings: Music and Lighting" is the team we want for our wedding! The price was right and I understand from my daughter that they were incredibly easy to work with during the planning process for their wedding reception. I can't say enough good things about them! When our son gets married someday, I'll definitely recommend to him and his fiancee' that they use "Howe Weddings: Music and Lighting". It'll be the crowning touch for a beautiful, fun, elegant reception!

Kelly and Susan are excellent to work with! We wanted to create an experience for our guests at the reception, and Kelly and Susan had the ideas and the equipment to make it happen. Susan worked with us to create personalized aspects to bring uniqueness to our wedding and reception. They were always available for planning meetings with the all our vendors. Our highest compliment is that the flow of events (i.e., wedding party arrival, blessing, toasts, cake cutting) throughout our intricate, 4-hour reception was facilitated/directed flawlessly by Kelly as the Master of Ceremony. Even the count down to the New Year's Eve Spectacular for "ringing in of the new year" was fun and lively because of the brilliant DJ'd music selections. Beyond what we can say, we are most proud of the Facebook comments left by our guests about our very special event. Kelly and Susan guided us through the entire process, and for that, we are grateful for having chosen this awesome team! We thought their packaged services were very affordable compared to other quotes. Their added touches surprised and delighted us when we arrived at the reception. Kelly and Susan know how to deliver big results.

Kelly and Susan were so much fun and a blessing to work with! My husband and I initially were searching just for a DJ when we ran across HoweKC. But, to our surprise that's not all they do! Susan coordinated and made sure that we had absolutely nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. Kelly and Susan were easy to contact and were always willing to meet and help us answer any questions we had. I can't say enough wonderful things about HoweKC, as they made our day even more special than we could have imagined. The music was great and just what we asked for, and our day was stress free. Howe Weddings was everything we wanted and more! They are a great team as Kelly kept the early events moving and then the dance floor packed the entire night! Susan was great behind the scenes and she handled everything from orchestrating the cake cutting to speeches to the first dance and even stitched up a bridesmaid's dress! You won't find a better DJ/event team in KC!

Kelly and Susan were amazing! They really went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was perfect! They have thought of everything and when I say everything, I mean it! They brought up so many things during the planning process that we would have never thought of down to carrying our food back to our table for us so that we didn't spill anything on the way back and had our hands free in case we got to chatting along the way as well. Kelly and Susan communicate through the whole thing so that everything runs like a well oiled machine! Susan always made sure everyone was where they needed to be and Kelly was an awesome MC and DJ and kept the dance floor moving all night! The up lighting they brought truly transformed the room into a beautiful reception and we really believe that our day would not have gone as smoothly without them. They even ran our rehearsal as our officiant was a friend and had never done a wedding before and that was so helpful. We love Kelly and Susan and highly recommend that you use them!!

Kelly and Susan were fantastic to work with. When we hired them as the DJ, didn't realize we got an experience wedding planning team. Susan professionally directed the wedding party thru their responsibilities and paces. Cannot think this wedding would have gone off as smoothly without them. Wow! I can’t brag enough on the Howe wedding team! Kelly and Susan did an absolutely amazing job and made our big day simply perfect. Our guests are still raving about the reception and how much fun it was. Kelly did an amazing job on making sure our music was just right while Susan made sure all of the logistics went smoothly. My parents greatly appreciated their help in making sure everything ran smoothly so they could simply be parents of the bride. Our guests loved the custom photo booth and the outdoor lawn games were a huge hit! I’d book them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone planning a party.

I could go on for days about how great Kelly and Susan are! They know exactly what they are doing and how to make a wedding run smoothly. I credit them for how perfect the day went. Susan made sure we stuck to our timeline but I never felt rushed. Kelly kept everyone on the dance floor and no one wanted the party to end!
