Hope is an expert artist at making brides look and feel their prettiest while also still looking like themselves. I received several compliments along the lines of "You look absolutely gorgeous but still like yourself, I don't think I've ever seen that with a bride before!" Other than me choosing a general hairstyle (down and to one side) and choosing my lipstick color, I put my trust in letting Hope decide what would look best on me, and she knocked it out of the park. Trust the experts, that's why you're hiring them! She's very relaxed and fun to hang out with the morning of your wedding too. Thank you Hope!

Hope did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She is incredibly sweet and listened and accommodated to achieve my desired wedding look. She does both hair and makeup so beautifully - especially since being of Asian heritage I’ve come across many makeup artists that are unable to do my eye makeup properly (but not Hope!). Hope and her assistant also did beautiful work with hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law. It was the first time that my mom and mother-in-law had applied fake eyelashes and they were both gushing over their look! Also one of my bridesmaids even came to me saying how happy she was with her hair especially since she was disappointed with the hair creation for the last wedding she was a part of. I highly recommend Hope for any life event you’d like to be dolled up!

It's just like all of the other reviews said - Hope is amazing to work with! She is able to translate your montage of Pinterest inspo pics into the look of your dreams. I have never looked or felt as glamorous and beautiful as I did on my wedding day - and it's all thanks to Hope. I was so worried about looking and feeling like I had makeup caked on my face - but Hope made me look like natural and like myself (just a little better ;) ). Also - people could not stop raving about my hair!! She is good at what she does.

On top of all of that, she was able to keep me calm and collected on the morning of my wedding (especially as all of the craziness started to get to me). Her sweet and calming presence definitely allowed me to enjoy my wedding morning with my bridesmaids.

Hope does beautiful work! I was most impressed by how well she followed our examples and made each example fit with our own styles. Not only was Hope a blast to work with but she was also incredibly productive, finishing my entire bridal party in time to work on an additional TWO services on the day of the wedding. I've heard horror stories about how long hair and make-up can take and how it usually slows down the wedding timeline but I was very impressed with Hope's ability to stay ahead of schedule while still producing an incredible final product.

Hope was by far one of the best vendors we had for our wedding. Not only was she friendly, responsive and easy to work with, her hair and makeup styling was gorgeous.

After hearing about Hope from a friend, I scheduled a trial with her. I had a few looks in mind for my hair and makeup, but I was also looking for some creative suggestions from a professional. Hope was wonderful on both counts. She listened to my requests and provided some great suggestions as well. She even took the time to give me a second hairstyle during the trial, just so I could see the differences in two looks I was debating.

On my wedding day, Hope was perfect -- she arrived on time, was well prepared and brought a great assistant. They were able to style three bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and me so that we were right on time to make it to the ceremony. And everyone looked gorgeous -- no one had stiff, dump-on-a-bottle-of-hairspray hair or makeup-slathered-on-with-a-butter-knife faces. Everyone looked natural and beautiful, and their looks lasted throughout the day and night. All of my bridesmaids told me after the wedding how much they enjoyed Hope and her fun, easygoing manner in the bridal suite.

I can't recommend Hope enough! She is incredibly talented and so knowledgable about the many aspects of her field. She has tried a huge range of products and uses the best brands and techniques for each person. She is also the consummate professional who is kind, respectful, fun, and works until she gets it right! I was so so happy with my makeup and styling for my wedding day and surrounding events - and I continue to get compliments about my look to this day! Use Hope - you won't regret it!

Hope was wonderful! She was so much fun to be around, first of all, which is sometimes lacking when you have someone come in to do hair/makeup on a wedding day. I've been in weddings where the hair and makeup people were really frazzled, but Hope was calm and really laid back. She was also really open to hearing our ideas for our hair but was helpful in making some suggestions that would improve the look or make it more likely that everything would stay put through the ceremony and reception.

I would absolutely recommend Hope for hair or makeup to a friend!
