Where to start! Working with Devon was so easy and comfortable - she came fully prepared with anything I needed AND had such great help. She did my 9/21 wedding in the White Mountains this year. She handled hair and brought another artist to do makeup. I had my makeup done by a close friend but Devon killed it when it came to my hair (and my girls). I was also so pleased with all the makeup the other woman did (you had a gorgeous name I’m so sorry I forgot it!). My mother is disabled with MS, and lots of things are really hard for her to do. Both girls were so incredibly patient with her - their compassion and kindness was immeasurable. At my final touch up Devon could tell I wasn’t sold on the tiniest bit of it and wouldn’t rest til it was EXACTLY what I wanted - her entire demeanor in that exchange reassured me I picked the right person to be there with us.

Even before the wedding, she was super accommodating with trials as I needed to try each style I liked to rule out what I wanted for day of (we did 3 and PERFECTED the look I was going for). Something came up, no problem she rebooked me. I changed my mind come trial two, no problem she tweaked it.

Aside from her talent and good company Devon went above and beyond to help this stressed out bride keep her chill and I could not recommend her anymore!

I reached out to Devon one week before my wedding after my original makeup artist backed out at the last minute (long story short… but every bride’s nightmare). Devon didn’t just step in — she saved the day! She responded immediately, was so reassuring, and was incredibly flexible with every detail. In one of the most stressful moments of the entire wedding process, she made the booking experience feel effortless, calm, and easy.

On the day of my wedding, Devon brought the most grounding, peaceful energy into the room. She didn’t just do my makeup — she took care of all of us and made sure we all felt our best. Her warmth and kindness instantly helped calm my nerves. She truly listened to what I wanted and what I felt most confident in. She absolutely nailed it. I felt so beautiful. I felt like myself — just the most elevated, bridal, glowing version of myself. The make up not only looked gorgeous but it lasted all day and night. She even gave me a touch up kit with all the products that were used so if needed, I had them on hand.

To make it even more meaningful, I ended up having a really difficult experience with my hair stylist that morning. I was overwhelmed and stressed, and Devon stepped in without hesitation. She helped fix my hair, smoothed everything out, placed my veil perfectly, and genuinely cared about how I felt. She went above and beyond anything I could’ve imagined. She was not just a makeup artist that day — she was support, reassurance, a calming presence, and a true professional who genuinely has passion for what she does.

I truly do not know what we would have done without her. She is talented on a level that is rare — but she is also a caring, genuine, beautiful human being. I will forever be grateful she was part of my wedding day. If you are considering booking her, please do. She is absolutely amazing.

We found Devon at Honeycomb Beauty through a mutual connection in the makeup artist space and we were so lucky! She was willing to travel over 80 miles to come do hair and makeup for 4 of us for a wedding at our hotel.
