Venue was super nice and we were able to use both inside and outside. The grounds were well kept and the views were amazing. Food was buffet and tasted great too!

Leah and the staff at the Homestead were so responsive and great to accommodate our requests and ideas. They promptly took care of any issues that arose throughout the day and evening.

Homestead’s Wedding Coordinator: Leah Lancaster is a true gem. Of her numerous positive attributes, she is warm, personable, flexible, accommodating, and communicative. She is also calm and collected, which made the entire planning and execution of our wedding so much more grounded. I trusted her every step of the way without any hesitation. I can’t tell you how much pressure it took off to have her ‘on the ground’ organizing many of the details leading up to and during the wedding. Working with Leah was a highlight of our experience.

Professionalism/Quality of Service: My partner and I had nothing but positive interactions with every member of the Homestead Resort’s staff (front desk, the engineers who drove us on golf carts from our rooms to the venue, the wait and service staff, the general manager…) everyone was friendly and caring and good at their jobs. We chose to have a plated meal service for our guests, and the food was plentiful (the portions were large!) and everything they served was delicious. Our wedding cake was included in the package, and sending the baker some photo ideas/flavor preferences was all it took to get that organized (so simple). The Homestead Resort staff really made everything flow smoothly.

Resort: One of the reasons we chose the Homestead Resort is because of its ‘old Utah’ charm and history. While we still were able to capture that feeling, it is important to note that the resort and surrounding area are undergoing major, major renovations and the landscape there is changing/has changed drastically. For example, the entire front entrance to the resort (which used to be trees) has been bulldozed to accommodate future buildings and event spaces. Luckily there is no active construction on weekends so there was no noise during our ceremony or event, and the resort has done a good job of ensuring that the current event spaces are far away from the active construction. The resort seems to also be putting effort towards preserving some of the site’s general heritage. That being said, some of the views from the (very modern and comfortable) rooms into the gated-off construction zone weren’t ideal.

Overall: When we were planning our wedding, we wanted to have it in a place where all of our guests could stay in the same location, driving wasn’t needed/was minimal, there were different activities accessible and that could meet different interests and abilities, and that it was in a quiet(er), beautiful place. We have reflected many times since our wedding that the Homestead was the best place for this to have happened – all of our boxes were checked.

At the beginning we had a few communication issues about the location for the wedding, due to some construction/renovations. However, once we got that worked out and on the day before and day of, the staff couldn't have been more fabulous. Tricia as our coordinator served as a day of wedding director and the staff during set up and during the reception were responsive, helpful and more that met our expectations. As a wedding planner, I absolutely love working at The Homestead Resort in Utah. The facility is always impeccably maintained, and the ceremony location is simply beautiful. Hosting a party on the patio and under the tent is a staple here, offering the perfect blend of outdoor flexibility with stunning views. The newly renovated rooms and houses are amazing, providing ample space for all your guests without any hassle. It truly feels like having your wedding in a high-class neighborhood. The Homestead Resort consistently exceeds expectations, making every event memorable and special.

We knew as soon as we saw the Homestead that we had to get married there. The event space is gorgeous & it was so great having the majority of our guests stay at the resort with us. It made for a really fun wedding weekend environment. The team at the Homestead is FABULOUS! Our original coordinator left during our planning process and Leah joined the team without skipping a beat. She communicated quickly and was so helpful with all our random questions. Tricia & Jamie were also amazing at stepping in & supporting. We wouldn't have changed a thing about the venue or our experience there.

Absolutely loved having our wedding at the Homestead. It was easy to have our out of town guests stay at the resort. Leah was great to work with. The staff during our wedding was phenomenal and we had non stop compliments.

The fact that it's only a short one-hour drive from Salt Lake International Airport made it incredibly accessible for our guests, many of whom were traveling from afar. With amenities like golf, dining options, and even a geothermal hot spring encased in a limestone dome, The Homestead provided an abundance of possibilities for our guests to enjoy leading up to the big day. The setting was idyllic, making it an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Leah, our event coordinator at The Homestead, was an absolute dream come true. As I'm sure most married men can attest, we often find ourselves with limited involvement in the wedding planning process. However, Leah was exceptional in ensuring that both my wife and I were included every step of the way (and she even managed to make me feel important in the process, which is quite the accomplishment!). Her dedication and hard work were evident, and it all paid off magnificently on the day of our wedding. The ceremony and reception areas were impeccable, and Leah always had a Plan B, C, D, and more ready to go, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and flawlessly.

Looking at the property itself, it's a true testament to beauty and elegance. The lush green lawns, vibrant flower beds, and recently renovated rooms provided an exquisite backdrop for our special day. The rooms were not only comfortable but also exuded a sense of luxury that made our stay truly exceptional.

And oh, the food! The chefs at The Homestead truly outdid themselves. We received a flood of compliments about the delectable dishes served at our wedding. Even the self-proclaimed "foodies" on our guest list couldn't help but rave about their dinners. The attention to detail and the quality of the food left a lasting impression on all our guests.

If I were to do it all over again, I couldn't imagine choosing any other venue than The Homestead. It provided the perfect blend of convenience, natural beauty, and exceptional service that made our wedding day an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. From the accessible location to Leah's outstanding coordination, the picturesque property, and the mouthwatering cuisine, The Homestead delivered on all fronts. It truly was the wedding of our dreams, and we are forever grateful for the memories created in this remarkable place.
