Set in the Wasatch mountain range, Solitude Mountain Resort is just a forty-minute drive from Salt Lake City. The resort offers a range of outdoor and indoor venues that embrace the area's breathtaking views and can accommodate 20-250 guests. Wedding ceremony and reception locations range from outdoor lawns to European-style lodges. One of their premier venues is the Roundhouse and Lawn, where couples will celebrate their love mid-mountain surrounded by nature and rustic architecture. The resort offers a range of luxurious lodging for couples and guests, including heated pools, hot tubs, saunas, and game rooms.
Services Offered
At Solitude Mountain Resort, an on-site wedding coordinator will ensure every detail of your wedding is perfect. All wedding packages at Solitude include setup and breakdown of up to 150 chairs, speaker system, microphone, dance floor, and tent. They also offer fire pits, dinnerware, linens, and staff for the celebration. Additional items include a projection screen and extra ceremony chairs. The culinary team at Solitude will work with you to create the perfect menu for your wedding. Their customizable catering options feature fresh and local ingredients. Kate and Juliana were impeccable in every way. They made planning the wedding a breeze. They accommodated us, helped us figure out this whole process and were instrumental in making the day seamless and one for the books.
I cannot recommend Kate or Juliana enough, and would give my full vote of confidence for Solitude to any bride looking to have a smooth and stunning wedding .

The best wedding weekend!
The Solitude team went above and beyond to ensure our day / weekend was exactly what we wanted. Shoutout to Dusten, Amy, Erika, and team. From helping us and our guests book various types of lodging, to helping us organize multiple events at multiple venues, every new idea we had the Solitude staff met us with positive energy and creativity to ensure our visions came to life. They also had excellent recommendations for vendors, many of which we used. The team was detail-oriented, the communication was smooth, and we were able to meet on site with their team and our wedding coordinators to get all of our questions answered. They were flexible, kind, enthusiastic, and it was truly the weekend of our dreams. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience. We toured multiple venues in the area, but Solitude was the most welcoming and had the best energy which is why we chose this venue, and it paid off! Big thank you to Solitude, we highly, highly recommend!

Wedding of our dreams!
We can't imagine a better wedding venue. The Solitude team helped us create the wedding of our dreams! We got married on the Inn Lawn this September, with reception inside at the Last Chance Lodge. Throughout the planning process, Julianna and Kate were incredible to work with. They helped us incorporate our own traditions into the Solitude space--we truly felt the wedding was exactly what we hoped for. (They even were willing to make a cake using our recipe!). They are very organized and helped us stay on track with all the detail. They also were wonderful at communicating with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page.
All of the staff at Solitude were kind, down-to-earth, and happy to help us and our guests with anything we needed. For many of our guests, Solitude was their first introduction to Utah, and they loved it--several plan to come back for vacation! It's a great venue for people of all ages and interests. Great for kids--tons of space to run around, great pool. Great for outdoorsy guests with lots of hikes and biking nearby. And, also great for our less-outdoorsy guests--they loved checking out mountain views from the chairlift or relaxing on the patios!
We had the best day of our lives--couldn't have hoped for a better celebration! If you want a relaxed, fun, beautiful, and personal wedding--we recommend this venue 100%!

We don't have enough great things to say about Solitude. We got married in the fall and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Most special of all, working with the entire team at Solitude was so amazing. Many wedding venues leave their couples to figure things out on their own but Solitude was with us every step of the way. Julianna was so responsive, kind, and fun to work with! She met with us so many times during the year and had a very detailed map, overview, and price breakdown that would get updated each time we met. She genuinely wanted us to have the best day - which we did. Everything was so magical - from the ceremony overlooking the mountains, to the reception, to the after party at the thirsty squirrel bar. Thank you so much for everything!

Perfect and Magical
We had a perfect wedding at Solitude. Kate was amazing to work with during our organizing and planning. The staff gave us the most incredible service through our entire evening. We couldn't have been more happy, nor could they have done anything any better. We would go to Solitude again without hesitation.

Perfect Mountain Wedding
Solitude was the perfect place for a summer wedding! I got married at Last Chance Lodge in the end of July and the weather was perfect! Most of our guests came from out of town and stayed at Solitude all weekend, which really gave my husband and I time to connect with everyone. Our day of coordination, Kate, really helped us with planning along the way. She was also available to answer questions and made sure that the whole day was organized and ran smoothly. Our wedding planning ended up being a breeze, largely due to Kate and the fact that Solitude handled all food, drinks, tables, dishes, and linens. That only left us with needing to book a florist, photographer and DJ.

BEST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE!!! Seriously, our family & friends are STILL raving about how unique & amazing our wedding was! Kate & Julianna along with Solitude's staff, were a HUGE part as to why! I was a particular bride & Kate was a GOD SENT for me. She was so responsive & met with me several times before the wedding. If I hadn't thought of something, she did! She was so organized by making sure every detail was accounted for. Julianna was more involved the weekend of my wedding & was so helpful as well! Both the girls were there on my wedding day, talking with my vendors, checking in on me, moving things.. They were unreal. We chose to have our ceremony up the chairlift & our reception at Moonbeam Lodge this August & it was breathtaking! If you love outdoors/the mountains, choose the upper ceremony area!!! Our guests had the most unique experience taking the chairlift up to our ceremony & being seated in the middle of the mountains. Our photos turned out unlike any other ceremony you've ever seen. I cannot say enough about how incredible our wedding was & I would choose Solitude over & over again!!
