The Holocene isn't really a traditional wedding venue, but more people should know about this space because it is SO AWESOME. It has beautiful high ceilings with large windows, lots of space and seating, and we barely had to do any decorating. They have very affordable wedding packages, and if you have the wedding during the daytime it is even more affordable. They also have a GREAT in-house caterer who designed a custom menu for us.

The contact person, Jarkko, is laid-back and awesome and always got back to me about things in a very timely manner. He and his staff were very professional and made the whole day very easy on us--everything went perfectly. The food was amazing and we got lots of compliments on it. The drinks were good too, and they do a 20% discount on things from the bar when you rent the venue for an event, so it ended up being a lot less than we thought it would be.
