History

Donovan was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Melissa as a child. After graduating from Melissa High School in 2012, Donovan enlisted in the United States Army. He served six years as an Airborne Army Ranger and served two deployments to Afghanistan. In 2016 Donovan suffered an accident while on Fort Benning, Georgia. The result of the accident caused Donovan to lose his right leg. His recovery journey led him to realize his passion for food and bringing people together. Today, Donovan resides in Anna, Texas, with his wife Jasmin, daughter and son where he also runs his food truck and catering business. Donovan's favorite pasttimes are bicycling, kayaking, fishing, hiking, spending time with family, and smoking mouth-watering barbecue.
