Jack and I were married on 01/23/2010 I worked with Shirley for about 8 months on the wedding detailing and planning. Shirley was such a wonderful person to have around, she offered so much in helping to plan and suggestions for our big day! The planning was easy and very efficient for the reception, when I would email her she emailed right back and phone calls to. She's very on top of things!! When the event got closer she was in contact for the themes, food, decorations, and billing. It was so nice to have that stress taken off! The day that the event arrived, Shirley and her crew were setting up the evening before so it was nice to look at the room when I brought my stuff in. And to see all the detail work Shirley was doing for us was unbeleivable! She spray painted snowflakes black and but glitter on them for our theme!!! Not many people would go above like that BUT the staff at the Ramada did!! When we arrived for the reception our guest were shocked on how beautiful everything was! All the attention to detail! The staff serving was excellent!! The chef cut and served the prime rib that was perfectly prepared!! The food was sooooo yummy! All the staff was very professional. I didn't see one dirty plate all night! The serving staff was on top of clearing the tables and making sure that my guests had what they needed at all times!
The best part that my guests enjoyed was able to go back to their rooms instead of driving after drinking and it was January so there was snow on the ground. The hotel was able to block us off rooms so that we where on the whole 3rd floor! Its so nice and convienent that there suites connect into other rooms it made it nice to get ready the morning of the wedding. If you could get married 2, 3, 4, 5 times over again I would marry Jack over and over and do it at the Ramada Lansing Hotel everytime!!!
