Crispell Memorial French Church
The French Church, located on Huguenot Street in New Paltz, is a reconstruction of the first stone church in New Paltz, originally built in 1717. This reconstructed church was built in 1972 with funds from the Crispell Family. The structure features high-backed wooden pews and a raised pulpit, with a seating capacity of eighty individuals. It is a uniquely simple and yet appealing structure, with remarkable acoustic clarity.

Historic Huguenot Street drips with history and offers one of the best strategically placed locations for your Hudson Valley wedding extravaganza. Close to the Mohonk Preserve and charming b&bs like the Inn at Kettleboro or Maplestone, your guests will have plenty to do and great places to stay during your wedding weekend. And, in addition to the class and charm of this venue, the staff at Historic Huguenot Street are some of the most helpful and outgoing people you'll ever meet. They take a lot of pride in their work and in their community and really strive hard to give visitors a memorable experience.
The park like setting makes a beautiful back drop for a wedding. The old church is available for ceremonies too.
