100000/10 recommend the Hilton Garden Inn for a wedding venue. I was supposed to get married in Jamaica on 11/8/2025, however, Hurricane Melissa had other plans for me. I met with Jennifer SEVEN days before my wedding was supposed to happen and explained that I needed a place to throw a last minute wedding and she didn’t skip a beat. The entire staff was quick to throw together the most PERFECT wedding. Super budget friendly, beyond accommodating, and the nicest people I have ever met and worked with. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my wedding. THANK YOU Jennifer, and the entire staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. You guys are amazing!

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing wedding weekend at the Hilton Garden Inn over the weekend of October 18th, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience!

From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. I wish I could remember everyone's names because so many people made a lasting impression on us! The young lady who checked us in on October 16th was so lovely and welcoming. She immediately congratulated us on our upcoming wedding, and every time she saw us throughout the weekend, she took the time to ask how everything was going and congratulate us again. Those little moments of kindness meant so much to us!

The bellhop that weekend was equally spectacular. He came out to our car to help us unload our belongings and made sure everything was brought up to our room. He also helped my mom load her bags and get everything to the car. His kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed, and I heard several family members comment on how wonderful and helpful he was as well.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed made it easy to relax after such a busy weekend. The ocean views from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking! Having those beautiful views from the rooms makes the stay well worth it. Housekeeping also made sure we had extra towels and everything else we needed throughout our stay. Another incredibly thoughtful touch was the wedding gift and congratulations from the hotel staff. It was such a sweet surprise and made us feel even more celebrated!

Now, onto the wedding festivities! Jennifer, the event coordinator, was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process, and we would highly recommend her to anyone considering hosting an event here. She helped us coordinate our menu and colors and worked alongside our day-of coordinator to add special touches to the reception space that helped bring our vision to life. She also checked in with us several times throughout the weekend, including on our wedding day, to make sure everything was running smoothly. Her support, reassurance, and attention to detail made such a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us.

We had originally planned to hold our ceremony on the deck, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. Thankfully, the indoor ceremony location was just as beautiful, with the ocean views providing a stunning backdrop. The transition of our cocktail hour indoors was seamless as well. The reception space was the perfect size for our 90 guests, and the dance floor stayed filled throughout the night! It was everything we could have hoped for.

During cocktail hour and the reception, Sheila frequently checked in with my husband and me to make sure we had everything we needed. Those little moments of care meant so much, especially when there were so many things happening around us. Vince was also incredibly helpful, and we saw him throughout the evening making sure things were taken care of wherever he was needed. We truly appreciated having such a wonderful team looking after us and our guests.

And finally, the food! Everything was absolutely phenomenal, from the cocktail hour selections to the reception dinner. Our guests raved about the food, and we couldn't agree more! My husband and I have always joked that people don't go to weddings for the food, but after experiencing the food at the Hilton Garden Inn, I don't think anyone could say that about this venue. Our guests were pleasantly surprised, happy, and satisfied with every bite! The quality and flavor exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have been happier.

Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn is an incredible place to stay and an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. Between the breathtaking ocean views, gorgeous event spaces, phenomenal food, and, most importantly, the genuinely caring and attentive staff, our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed it would be and more.

What truly sets this hotel apart is how special they make you feel. From the moment we checked in to the end of our wedding weekend, we felt welcomed, cared for, and celebrated. Every little detail and act of kindness added to an already unforgettable experience.

We are so thankful we chose the Hilton Garden Inn for such an important milestone in our lives. We got married at dunes in 2021! They made our beach wedding spectacular! Joanne helped us arrange every detail my wife& I dreamed of, and Joe was the best catering manager! The dunes has exceptional staff, breath taking views, classic style, top notch food& drink and value that are unmatched in the delmarva peninsula!!

We had such an amazing Wedding. We wouldn’t change anything. Wedding Venue, Cocktail, Reception, food. Hotel Staff, Food, and Jennifer were absolutely amazing. Money well spent. Jennifer was so helpful, pleasant, and worked with our budget.

Every aspect went perfectly! We reached out and started planning a year in advance. Our contact Jen, was so helpful! She made the process so easy and smooth. She was also quick to reply and answer any and all questions. Once we arrived the week of our wedding, every single staff member was amazing. Checking in was quick and easy, and the woman was so polite. The gentleman helping us load and u load everything was extremely kind and so helpful! The lady that oversaw our reception was so attentive and kind! Our bartender was great, and our group definitely kept him busy. We had the absolute perfect day! I could not recommend this hotel and their staff enough!

My daughter was supposed to get married in Jamaica on 11/8/25. We had planned it for a year, but Hurricane Melissa had other plans for us. Once we determined that was not happenning we had 2 weeks to pull together a whole new wedding. Jennifer reached out to us via weddingwire and the minute we met her we knew this is where the wedding would be. Jennifer and her team went over an above and made my daughters day memorable. The venue was beautiful, the food was great and reasonable and the whole day was perfect. They worked within my budget (while I was waiting to get my money back from the Jamaica one that was already paid in full). I would highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn and the whole staff for your wedding or any other celebration!

The Hilton was great but the staff is absolutely phenomenal!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Beautiful hotel, great decor, and the best location in OCMD. Being two blocks from the boardwalk, the location is great for having things to do, but also much quieter than staying on the actual boardwalk. If you're looking for great food, great staff, beautiful decor, cleanliness, and convenience this is the spot!!
Jennifer Dunkelberger the Catering Sales Manager, went above and beyond our expectations. A girl dreams about her wedding forever and she made my wedding better than what I could've ever imagined! We toured quite a few venues but weren't wowed until we met with Jennifer. She is a warm, caring, heart on her sleeve girl that made all the difference. We obviously loved the venue, but Jennifer was the true selling point for us.
The staff here helped us decorate and plan things out so we did not need to hire a "wedding planner". They also do in house desserts that were delicious. They pretty much made anything we wanted/needed them to make for our wedding and the food was OUTSTANDING! Many people contacted me after the wedding to tell me that it was the best wedding food they ever had. Larry and Chris hit it out of the park with the food!!!

When I decided to do my celebration I never thought I would have this magnificent person, Jennifer, working with me in every aspect. I definitely will come back in the future todo any other occasions cause love everyone who works and make me feel happy.

I had my wedding reception in the Zippy Lewis room in August 2024- it was absolutely everything I hoped for and more! The room was beautiful on the beach, we had drinks and snacks on the deck & main course inside. All of the staff was WONDERFUL to work with, they accomadated my budget, schedule, food restrictions & everything. They even set up just the way I wanted & helped me decorate. I couldn’t have asked for more helpful coordinators! Not to mention the food- absolutely fantastic! They made a completely custom menu of everything I wanted on my day. I can’t say enough good things about having my reception here.
