We had the BEST experience with Hillary! She did such an incredible job capturing the essence of our wedding weekend, and we appreciated her calming, upbeat presence. We loved the combination of formal, candid, and detailed shots as well as film and regular photography. Her team worked seamlessly with our other vendors and operated unobtrusively within our timeline without compromising any of the shots that we wanted. She is so lovely to work with, and we couldn't recommend her more highly!

Hillary was the photographer for our wedding that took place on May 17, 2021 at the Biltmore Estate. What initially drew me to hiring Hillary for my wedding was her photography style as after seeing her portfolio I loved how perfectly dreamy and romantic her photos were. I had done a ton of research on photographers and everyone that was listed on the Biltmore Estate preferred vendor list had a dark and moody aesthetic to their photographs, which was not my style at all. I wanted to partner with a photographer that could help me create timeless, etherial photos that looked more like a styled wedding shoot than your traditional wedding photography.

I felt like Hillary really took the time to listen to what mattered the most to me regarding what I wanted prioritize having captured on my wedding day. She reviewed my Pinterest board and had detailed conversations with me to understand exactly where on the estate would be optimal for the look I was going for. The results? Well my photographs were better than I could’ve ever imagined - I am SO IN LOVE with my sneak peek wedding pictures I’ve seen so far.

The sneak peek photos were so good that my sister, Christine Hunt of Grey Meets Gold, who works in the wedding industry as a wedding stationery thought they were stunning that she recommended them getting submitted to bridal magazines to be featured.

Anytime I emailed Hillary she was always very quick to respond to me which I REALLY appreciated and the level of detail she brought to the day of my wedding was amazing.

I also really appreciated that she had a sneak peak of our wedding photos available for us to view within 48 hours after my wedding.

Hillary will definitely be the person I call for any photos we need in the future such as for our annual Christmas card, family portraits, and I would go the lengths of hiring her for my step-children's weddings when it's their time. I will also encourage all friends and family to hire Hillary for their wedding or any of their photography needs.

Hillary was absolutely amazing to work with. We were so lucky to find her for our small COVID wedding ceremony. She was super professional and put us at ease in front of the camera. This was definitely not her first time. I can’t thank her enough for the beautiful photos and getting the fully galley so quickly was definitely an added bonus. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great wedding photographer and person! We hope to work with her again in the future.

When you start planning a wedding, everyone recommends choosing top three "must haves" for your big day to budget around. Photography was second in my top three priorities and I had spent months researching for the perfect one. After finding her blog, I knew I had to book Hillary and let me say that working with Hillary was such a pleasure! She has a great eye for amazing photos. Her style uses soft, romantic light and she focuses on telling a story. She made us feel at ease during our engagement session by not making us pose stiffly but simply guided us in natural motions. For the wedding day, she was once again friendly and professional. She takes the time to understand your vision and makes recommendations on what to bring to capture all the wedding details. And as a bonus (for the excel sheet, planner loving bride like me) she created a timeline to keep the big day organized and efficient. 3 months later and I still cannot stop looking through our wedding pictures she shot and I still get compliments from friends and family about how beautifully she captured the day. If you are looking for a phenomenal photographer, you can stop looking because Hillary is your girl!

Hillary's work was nothing short of perfection. She was very easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable, like we had been friends for years :) Our engagement session was a breeze and I was very satisfied with her turn around time and the quality of images! When our wedding came around, I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing. I knew our wedding day was going to be captured beautifully and that my husband and I would be able to relive it every time we look at our photographs. I could not be happier that Hillary was our wedding photographer. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, all of the images were beyond stunning! Hillary was quick to respond to any questions that we had and was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She provided a timeline about a week or so before the wedding and stuck to everything as she had planned it on the day of the ceremony. We knew exactly what was happening when and where we needed to be and it just made the day so much easier! She was sure to capture any must-have photos that we requested, but also got shots that we never would have thought of. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos and I would absolutely recommend Hillary to any bride-to-be.

Hillary was such a great photographer to work with; both professional enough to get the job done and laid back enough to make us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Photography for our wedding day was my top priority so a lot of time was spent searching through the websites of hundreds (literally) of photographers on the East Coast in hopes of finding the perfect fit for us. In viewing her social media, I immediately noticed that her feature photos were absolutely breathtaking. However, what really set her apart were the full gallery examples she provided us to browse. Every photo was crisp, creative and beautifully shot. From the detail shots to the party/dancing shots; they all looked frame-worthy. As a whole, Hillary exemplified how to combine pleasantry, professionalism and a great final product. In person, Hillary provided the instruction we needed to ensure that backgrounds, lighting, poses and settings were exceptional. The final product was a huge digital album full of beautifully edited and executed photos – just as exceptional as those examples she provided us during our search for the right photographer. Our weather conditions were less than perfect on the wedding day, but Hillary was able to bring out the best from each picture that she supplied us with. Overall a great experience, Hillary is someone we’d highly recommend for your professional photography needs and we hope to use her again in the future.

Hillary was a dream to work with! In choosing a photographer I wanted to find someone who would take all of the beautiful shots to capture the evening but wouldn't keep my friends and family away from the fun the whole night. Hillary made this possible! She captured the entire evening beautifully and I didn't feel like I was spending too much time taking pictures. She also sent us the full suite of pictures two weeks after the wedding-much faster than other wedding photographers I've seen. Our wedding was in the evening and we didn't do a first look so all of our pictures we're taken at night-but this wasn't a concern for Hillary, I couldn't be happier with the pictures. Do yourself a favor and make sure Hillary is your photographer-you won't be disappointed!

Getting the right photographer was the most important parts of planning our wedding, since it was someone we’d be working with our entire wedding day and photos are something we’d treasure forever. I’m SO glad we found Hillary! She’s an AMAZING, down to earth, sweet, encouraging, up-beat, experienced professional, and truly wonderful to work with! I did a ton of research on photographers (I come from a picky family of photographers) and finding which style I prefered before we found Hillary. She came highly recommended, and she went even above and beyond what we hoped for!

We planned our wedding from out of state, and she was extremely attentive to emails. We skyped us for our initial consult, then met for engagement pictures. She instantly made us relax with her friendliness, quick smile, and assurances that everything was looking wonderful. I’ve never seen my husband so willing or excited to have his picture taken before. The session flew by, and we were giddy by the end, ready to jump ahead a few months to wedding day to get to take more photos with her.

On wedding day, she showed up ready for action. She was accommodating and flexible, going with the flow, bending her timeline as needed. She didn’t pose us throughout our wedding and photos during our first look and cocktail hour, but instead took photos of us with suggestions of what to do next, making it feel much more relaxed, natural, and exciting. She captured the small details, like my husband singing to me during our first dance, and kept everyone relaxed and smiling effortlessly throughout the afternoon and evening.

I don’t think there are enough words or the right words to express how thankful I am for Hillary. She truly knocked our pictures out of the park - every photo we’ve looked at captures a story and they are stunning. We’ve received so many compliments on our photos. Choosing Hillary was truly one of THE ABSOLUTE BEST decisions of our wedding planning process.
