I cannot say enough about Erik. I contacted around 40 photogaphers before I found him via a recommendation from a friend who married earlier this year. From the beginning he was professional, extremely responsive via email, so incredibly flexible with plans, and generally just a joy to be around. He did our engagement photos and graciously agreed to do 2 sessions so we could do photos at the NC State Bell Tower and the Old Well in Chapel Hill. (I'm Carolina; husband is NC State). He was generally excited about our wedding location in the mountains when other photographers just shrugged. At our wedding on Oct. 26, 2013 he had injured his leg but still made the trek up the mountain to get the most amazing photos for us. I honestly barely noticed him during the festivities. He just naturally blends in. And he had preview photos for us 2 days later so we could see them before we left for our honeymoon. I've already recommended him to everyone I know. And to top it all off, his pricing was so reasonable and easy to understand. Just contact him and you'll see what I mean. We are so incredibly happy to have found him!

I can not say enough nice things about Erik. I met him at a bridal expo in Raleigh, NC. There were a ton of vendors to choose from but I narrowed it down to him based off obviously his work, but most importantly his product value and professionalism. He set down and explained everything, showed me work he had recently completed and asked what type of photography I was looking for for my upcoming wedding. He is not the type of photographer to push his "style" on his clients, rather he ask what kind of pictures the client wants (traditional vs. "artsy", etc.).

He was very flexible for all of the shoots! We had to re-schedule the bridal shoot due to rain within a few days to avoid extra charges from my florist and Erik made it work.

Erik's responsiveness is off the charts. He is always available for questions and he sends previews from shoots within days to give you a sneak peak.

I purchased the package that included two photographers for the wedding day. Garry was the second photographer and he did a great job as well. Very friendly and worked well with our wedding party.

My husband and I did not have time to take photos in his Marine Uniform on the wedding day like we had hoped for. Noones fault - but Erik offered to meet us after the wedding to take pictures for us. Wow! Talk about 5 star service.

In 2012 I walked into the Bridal Show in downtown Raleigh just a month after I had been engaged. As I walked through the front door there were Photographer Portraits displayed and I fell in love with a photograph taken on the beach at sunset. The colors and emotion captured in this picture I knew I had to meet this photographer and quickly found Erik's station that day. Myself, my best friend and my best friend's brother all ended up booking our upcoming weddings with Erik after we met him. I entered the drawing to win either a free bridal/engagement shoot and actually won! We went to Wrightsville Beach for our engagement shoot. In the summer the weather can be gorgeous one minute and stormy the next so we were very flexible around the weather. We went with the cloudy day, which paid off with the colors in our pictures being more vibrant. They turned out absolutely amazing. Almost all the pictures looked like they could be on the cover of a magazine or a book!

His work is flawless and when working with him his personality is as if you are working with an old friend, which really puts you at ease during one of the most stressful times of wedding planning. He has great wedding package selections and one thing that set him apart from all of the other photographers was that he gives you rights to all of the pictures he takes, where as other photographers will not typically do that.

Our wedding day was flawless and the weather could have not been more perfect in April with all of the Azaleas blooming and not a cloud in the sky, he worked with putting together a list with us before the big day so no shots would be missed. He did such a wonderful job of capturing the special moments through out the day that really put together a story with just simple beautiful photographs. We can't thank you enough Erik for capturing our special day.
