She was always good about responding to our questions before, during, and after the wedding and was instrumental in helping our wedding day run smoothly. I can't say enough good about her!

Nicole is awesome! She's fun, down to earth, patient (a saint for dealing with our dogs!) and very professional. She drove all the way to New Orleans for our engagement shoot and did our destination wedding in savannah. I love her pictures - very creative and i love how she works with the light. My husband and I were married on May 6th this past year and we could not be more excited or thankful that Nicole Parrish McClain at High Cotton Studios was there to capture our beautiful wedding in the most spectacular and artistic way. We first met with Nicole for an engagement session around town last year, to get to know her and to celebrate our engagement. Between that shoot and our wedding, Nicole has been the warmest, most professional, incredibly talented yet down to earth person we have had the privilege of working with. YOU HAVE TO BOOK WITH NICOLE!!! She is incredibly talented and also fun to work with. We had sneak peak pictures within 24 hours and they are literally the most amazing wedding photos I've ever seen. She was quick and easy to work with. She replied to my many annoying emails quickly and when I was super stressed before the ceremony she helped put me at ease about our time frame. She gave us our photos in the cutest package and flash drive as well. We received tons of compliments and questions about who we worked with for our photos. All in all an amazing experience. We will definitely book her for our future needs!

Nicole is one of a kind. Our professional relationship began in March when she and my then-boyfriend conspired together to plan his proposal. They toured venues together looking for a beautiful backdrop for photos that also had hiding places for her as she would be waiting when we got there and secretly capture the proposal. Nicole got the sweetest shots of the proposal, and after I regained composure, we immediately had our engagement shoot. I didn't want to have bridal portraits, so Nicole offered to photograph the rehearsal lunch for no additional charge instead. Fast forward to wedding weekend: the Charleston "1,000-year flood." Our Saturday rehearsal and rehearsal lunch were cancelled. On wedding day, we had to change venues at the last minute. We had to start the ceremony two hours early and had a strict, small time frame in which to complete the whole event because bridges would be blocked and water would rush into the city. Nicole arrived to the new venue as if that were the plan all along. She photographed my bridesmaids and I as we got ready, and found cool spots to photograph us and the groom and groomsmen separately before the ceremony so they wouldn't see us. She did a great job of getting all the family shots we wanted during the extremely abbreviated cocktail hour (about 15 minutes!) Once the reception was underway she snuck the whole bridal party away for a few group shots and then some with just my husband and I. She was timely and efficient and got us back to the reception so we could spend time with our guests. She was cool, calm, and collected throughout the entire event despite having a fraction of the time we would have had under normal circumstances. I really appreciated her ability to work well under pressure and effectively communicate what she needed from us without being pushy. She was awesome and I can't wait to see the photos!
