    Exceptional Work and a Great Person

    Nicole did an outstanding job on our wedding. Our photos were stunning and have since been published in a magazine. She was always good about responding to our questions before, during, and after the wedding and was instrumental in helping our wedding day run smoothly. I can't say enough good about her!

    Picture Perfect

    Nicole was absolutely amazing to work with. She is a full service photographer and her pictures are amazing. She is so down to earth and listens to your vision and makes it a reality.

    Nicole is awesome! She's fun, down to earth, patient (a saint for dealing with our dogs!) and very professional. She drove all the way to New Orleans for our engagement shoot and did our destination wedding in savannah. I love her pictures - very creative and i love how she works with the light. When it came time to take family photos she was very quick. She was great especially considering the rainy/steamy weather! Book with nicole...you won't regret it!

    All I can say is WOW!!! From the minute she arrived Nicole was seriously amazing. She was so sweet and funny made us all feel so comfortable. She was really good at giving us direction and ideas for photos. The pictures we received are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be more pleased. Her pricing was very competitive and absolutely worth every penny. Thank you so much Nicole for the beautiful memories!

    My husband and I were married on May 6th this past year and we could not be more excited or thankful that Nicole Parrish McClain at High Cotton Studios was there to capture our beautiful wedding in the most spectacular and artistic way. We first met with Nicole for an engagement session around town last year, to get to know her and to celebrate our engagement. Between that shoot and our wedding, Nicole has been the warmest, most professional, incredibly talented yet down to earth person we have had the privilege of working with. I hold back tears when I think of her, how lucky we were to have her with us to capture this time in our lives. We will cherish these beautiful keepsake photos forever and think of her fondly whenever we see them. Nicole is simply perfection!

    I cannot imagine anyone else would have been able to find so much beauty in my wedding. Nicole found sun on my rainy wedding day and made it look magical. She was supportive and sweet throughout the process and knew exactly how to maximize time so we didn't keep guests waiting while taking photographs. I would not hesitate to hire her again or recommend her to anyone!

    YOU HAVE TO BOOK WITH NICOLE!!! She is incredibly talented and also fun to work with. We had sneak peak pictures within 24 hours and they are literally the most amazing wedding photos I've ever seen. She was quick and easy to work with. She replied to my many annoying emails quickly and when I was super stressed before the ceremony she helped put me at ease about our time frame. She gave us our photos in the cutest package and flash drive as well. We received tons of compliments and questions about who we worked with for our photos. All in all an amazing experience. We will definitely book her for our future needs!

    Nicole is one of a kind. Our professional relationship began in March when she and my then-boyfriend conspired together to plan his proposal. They toured venues together looking for a beautiful backdrop for photos that also had hiding places for her as she would be waiting when we got there and secretly capture the proposal. Nicole got the sweetest shots of the proposal, and after I regained composure, we immediately had our engagement shoot. I didn't want to have bridal portraits, so Nicole offered to photograph the rehearsal lunch for no additional charge instead. Fast forward to wedding weekend: the Charleston "1,000-year flood." Our Saturday rehearsal and rehearsal lunch were cancelled. On wedding day, we had to change venues at the last minute. We had to start the ceremony two hours early and had a strict, small time frame in which to complete the whole event because bridges would be blocked and water would rush into the city. Nicole arrived to the new venue as if that were the plan all along. She photographed my bridesmaids and I as we got ready, and found cool spots to photograph us and the groom and groomsmen separately before the ceremony so they wouldn't see us. She did a great job of getting all the family shots we wanted during the extremely abbreviated cocktail hour (about 15 minutes!) Once the reception was underway she snuck the whole bridal party away for a few group shots and then some with just my husband and I. She was timely and efficient and got us back to the reception so we could spend time with our guests. She was cool, calm, and collected throughout the entire event despite having a fraction of the time we would have had under normal circumstances. I really appreciated her ability to work well under pressure and effectively communicate what she needed from us without being pushy. She was awesome and I can't wait to see the photos!

    NIcole is amazing!!! I was so beyond thrilled to find out she was in our budget, her pictures are stunning. We really enjoyed working with her. She is totally game to try something different (we wanted some wedding pictures on our sail boat) and really good at keeping the pace moving for more formal pictures so they do not take all night :). She was so fun to have at our wedding, but still so professional, and such a huge asset! I really could not imagine working with anyone else. Plus our pictures are gorgeous!!!

    We had a very short engagement, only 8 weeks. We found Nicole and I could not be happier! She was professional, kind, prompt, and squeezed us in with our short time frame. We love our pictures and they are an amazing viewpoint into our special day.

    After months of research, We decided to go with High Cotton Studios and I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions that I've made during the whole wedding planning process. From start to finish, Nicole was absolutely amazing. I would most definitely recommend High Cotton Studio for any special occasion.

    Nicole was absolutely amazing and she's willing to travel which was a plus! She has a great personality and is so easy to work with. I knew my pictures would turn out amazing with her behind the camera and they did! I used her for bridal portraits and my wedding.

    Isn't fast on responding, had to wait weeks before hearing back from her.

    High Cotton Studios's reply:

    It's hard for me to respond to an allegation such as this, when the user is "private". I will have to assume it's a fraudulent review since they have given me no information other than this. We do our very best to respond with 48 hours to every phone call and email we get. Due to the nature of our work, we aren't in the office fielding communications everyday, so we respond as quickly and accurately as we can. I assure you, it has never taken me more than a couple of days to respond to anyone, and waiting weeks to hear back from me is a flat out lie.

    Over Exposed Photos

    We hired Nicole to be our wedding photographer in Charleston last October. We received our photos about 6 months later and were VERY disappointed. The 500 photos were not in any particular order, most were overexposed (we were married on the water at the Yacht Club), and she didn’t capture the photos that I had requested. I had to hire an editing pro to fix our pictures. She really struggled to take control and direct our family and others during photos. I had requested the attached photo (this is just one example) but when it was sent to us- you can notice two guests to the right of our wedding party. She should have directed them to move. I would NOT recommend this company for your special day!
