This salon is amazing! The morning of my wedding my mom, 5 bridesmaids, and I got our hair and make up done at the salon. We each left looking absolutely perfect. We were the only people in the salon and had 5 stylists and a make up artist working on us to get us out in just over two hours. The wedding coordinator, MJ, was extremely helpful throughout the planning process from scheduling trials to offering advice for timing, services needed, etc. Michele did my hair and it was absolutely GORGEOUS. People are still talking about how unique and beautiful my hair was. She was extremely flexible and knowledgeable throughout the process and even offered a second trial when I decided at the last minute I may want a different hair style. We were extremely pleased with this salon and would definitely highly recommend their services to anyone!

Hey Red! is a small full-service beauty salon located on Main Street in Laurel, MD. The stylists are cool, calm, stylish, and very sweet. They are considerate and made the entire experience wonderful. I had my (bridal) hair and makeup done there, as well as hair and makeup for the bridesmaids and MOB. The stylists worked quickly (they even opened the shop a little early for us to accommodate our noon wedding) and our entire party was done/out of there within 2 hours. Excellent value, by the way. My stylist, Michele, worked with me to create a low up-do to show off my headpiece/veil, which my mom had fashioned. My hairstyle survived winter winds, a full wedding day/reception, and our wedding night, and (after I'd removed all the bobby pins) I even received compliments on my (then two-days old) hair on our honeymoon flight.

One more thing: I did not choose hairstyles for my bridesmaids (totally hands-off, I just let them pick something). They all chose different styles, and I know for a fact at least 2 of the 4 girls chose styles extremely similar to mine. Yet somehow, (I credit the women at Hey Red!), everyone's hair was different, none were the same (and no one's looked like mine), and of course everyone looked beautiful. I would recommend this vendor in a heartbeat. In fact it pains me that I moved away and cannot go here for my regular haircuts anymore.
