We were privileged to work with Helena and Laurent for our wedding. Helena is a gifted artist with a distinct creative vision, and the images she creates have a thoughtful, intentional quality that really captures the feeling of the day. She has a beautiful ability to elevate everyday moments and turn them into something special, and her editing style feels cinematic and timeless.

Laurent was great on the business side and helped keep everything organized and running smoothly. One piece of advice he gave us that really stuck with us was to embrace whatever happens and enjoy the unexpected moments rather than getting caught up in perfection. That mindset ended up shaping one of our favorite memories from the entire day — we actually fell at the end of the aisle after the ceremony, and it became one of the moments we remember most fondly.

Both Helena and Laurent were professional, fun to work with and clearly care about what they do. Helena is someone who really goes the extra mile for her couples. It was clear throughout that she puts a lot of heart, effort, and artistry into her work. We would absolutely recommend them to other couples.

Wonderful photographers, incredibly professional and responsive, and made us feel so comfortable immediately. We worked with Laurent for both the pre-event planning and for the day-of shoot (along with a wonderful second shooter that they contracted), and we couldn't be happier with the level of service and with the quality of the photographs. They really captured not just the most important moments, but the overall feel and atmosphere of each part of the event so beautifully. We can't stop looking at them!

For our wedding, Laurent kicked off planning and put us at ease with a clear idea of how they'd suggest a flow based on what our hopes were for the wedding. With minimal back and forth, we had a plan that fit perfectly with what we were hoping. The day of, Helena was at the helm of the camera and did a masterful job of capturing the moment while also orchestrating some beautiful shots. We even braved the elements by Golden Gate Bridge to get some amazing shots that I wouldn't have imagined would work.

For my maternity shoot, we had a blast shooting around our home in Marin. It was easy, fun and turned out beautifully.

Helena and Laurent were wonderful. We worked with Laurent throughout the planning process (which included a post-COVID reimagining), and Helena shot for us on the day. They are both kind, knowledgeable, talented, and incredibly cool. Our wedding photos are full of so much joy, which was exactly what we wanted. Helena adeptly handled our super long list of family shots (she was so good with our little nephews!) and caught so many organic, happy moments throughout the evening. Our experience with Helena & Laurent was simply perfect. They not only helped us feel comfortable during our engagement session and wedding; but they also gave us sound and thoughtful advice on how to approach our wedding and setting us at ease. We hired Helena and Laurent for our wedding in August 2019 at Fern River Resort in Felton, CA. From our first meeting over Google Hangouts to the moment we received our photos in October, Helena and Laurent were a pleasure to work with. The moments they captured will allow us to relive our wedding for many years to come. In the days leading up to our weekend, we got on the phone with Laurent and he gave us a pep talk, bestowing upon us the wisdom that only comes from someone who has attended hundreds of weddings. During the day itself, they struck the perfect balance of blending into the background and being there when you needed them. We were happy to receive a couple dozen preview photos in the days after our wedding. Additionally, after a last minute request, they were kind enough to speed up the processing of another set of photos so that we could print them in time for a reception we were having in LA. After receiving our full set, we eagerly shared them with friends and family who were all very pleased. We recommend Helena and Laurent for their artistry, professionalism, and wisdom.

My fiancé Joe and I could NOT be more thrilled with how our engagement photos turned out and the day-of wedding photography process. Helena and Laurent are true gems and are so passionate about their work and your experience. Working with them personally was awesome, but their work speaks for itself.
