Heidi has a wonderful eye for capturing people in his or her most natural state, thus giving the viewer the true essence of that particular moment in time. We hired Heidi to be our wedding photographer, and she also took our engagement photos. I highly recommend to anyone getting their wedding photos done by Heidi, to do this as well. It was nice for my husband and I to meet her prior to the wedding so we could both get to know one another. As there was time for her to learn our background story; how we met, fell in love, and what traits we liked about one another.
I am not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Heidi made me look like a natural on film. She is so kind and easy to be around that I hardly noticed that she was holding a camera. Hence, it was easy for me to be myself and not worry about what the pictures were going to look like.
On our wedding day, she paid a lot of attention to capturing all of the details that I had put so much time into planning, but are hard to take in at the time because of so much going on. That alone, was priceless to me. In addition, she captured each and every one of my husband and I's special moments, from the "first look", to saying our vows to one another, to the elation we had as we walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
There is always a lot going on at a wedding, and it is hard to fit everything in that you want. Which is why it was so nice to have a photographer that I could trust completely to do an exceptional job and be able to capture the magic of the day that I will look back on for years to come and be able to show to my children one day.

Heidi was amazing! Easy to makes plan with, prompt and professional. She got excellent candid and posed portraits, none of which felt forced or awkward, we couldn't be happier with our photos!

She did a great job capturing all the group and portrait shots I asked for as well as documenting the small details and most importantly capturing the candid moments of the wedding and reception. I was so excited when I came across Heidi while searching for a wedding photographer. I loved the authentic, candid style of her photos. So many wedding photos feel a bit too posed for our taste, we wanted something that felt more true to ourselves and Heidi was just perfect!

She was friendly, patient and professional in the 50+ emails I must have sent her leading up to the big day.

Heidi had a relaxed happy energy that made my husband and I much more comfortable in front of the camera, which we usually aren't. She did a great job of catching all the little details and happy candid photos I got excited about seeing while planning our own wedding, and am just thrilled with how beautifully she captured the day!

On the wedding day, she arrived early and was very flexible with our crunched timeline. She was even kind enough to stay a little late to catch sparkler photos. She also politely checked in with me throughout the evening to see when we planned to do certain things so she could be in the right place, which also reminded me what to do next. This was extremely helpful as I didn't have a wedding coordinator and kept forgetting to mind the timeline we had put together in advance.

After the event she worked extremely quickly and had our finished photos ready in about two weeks! I look forward to revisiting these photos over the years to help us refresh our memories of that day! I wholeheartedly recommend Heidi!

Heidi is not only extremely laid back and easy to work with, her ability to capture the important moments throughout your wedding is flawless. Every stolen kiss, every personal moment I would have wanted photographed was. She is the master of candid shots, something that was very important to me. She captures the experience, not a bunch of predetermined shots (although we have some of those too!). Couldn't have been happier.

Heidi was incredibly easy to work with throughout the wedding process. With a large family with varying levels of friendliness, she coaxed a portrait plan from me and came up with great follow up questions and suggestions. She helped me be excited about the possibilities with terrific questions, but no stress.

The wedding day, Heidi was present but not obtrusive. I LOVED how she let moments unfold instead of staging them. She's like a ninja in her ability to sneak up on a moment. As a result, everyone focused on the wedding ceremony, not on the photographer doing backflips in aisle. The photographs reflected both stunning formal photographs and tons of candid, intimate scenes. Each photograph begs a story, brings back memories, and makes me smile.

Heidi truly provides an amazing talent for capturing your wedding. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

It was great working with Heidi, both for our engagement photos and wedding photos. We were a little nervous to take engagement photos since you aren't really doing anything (like you are on the wedding day). However, Heidi made it a very comfortable experience. She guided us in what to do, but not to the point that we looked staged. The best thing about our photos was that they looked natural.

On our wedding day, Heidi took photographs from many different perspectives; yet, I do not remember seeing her a bunch. She was able to sneak in and out of places and get some really amazing shots. What I love about Heidi's photos is that they do not have too much photoshop work. This makes the people really stand out, in their true beauty. I am very happy with the results!

One of my favorite things from the wedding is the slideshow that Heidi made for us which has two songs from our wedding (the one that I walked down the aisle to and our first dance song).
I will be able to keep this video forever! It's also an easy way to share a bunch of photos with friends and family.

There are not enough wonderful things to be said about Heidi Hoffman Photography! Heidi was the first photographer my now-husband and I met with--just two weeks after we got engaged--and after meeting with her, we knew we need not bother meeting with anyone else. Heidi is so laid-back and easy-going--a stressed bride's dream--while still being professional and responsive. Her photojournalistic style was perfect for our tastes, since we both hate the over-styled, over-Photoshopped "look" popular with so many wedding photographers these days. Heidi doesn't need all that fluff, because she has an eye for how to make things look amazing, naturally.

Working with her leading up to the wedding was a breeze, and on our wedding day, we didn't even notice her there--but she was everywhere, all at once, and boy did we get a lot of great pictures! Plus, Heidi's packages are very competitively priced, and are an amazing value for all the great pictures you get.

After our wedding, we also did a "newlywed" shoot with her in late fall, which generated even more simply ah-mazing photos. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Heidi in the years to come, and cannot recommend her enough!

We hired Heidi Hoffman as our wedding photographer in September. She was incredibly pleasant to work with. We chose to work with her after interviewing many photographers. It was clear right away that she would put our family and guests at ease, not to mention the two of us! Heidi had such a perfect sense of how to get the photos that we wanted while not intruding on the day at all.

We opted for an 8 hour package, which resulted in just about 600 photos. We received a disc that had the photos both in print-ready and online format. Our posed family shots took 15-20 minutes. Heidi had asked us to provide her with a list of all of the groups that we wanted ahead of time so that no one was forgotten. In addition, she asked us a lot of questions about what kind of pictures we wanted for the day.

We absolutely love our photos! The ceremony pictures are great, as she got many close-up shots, but also did a great job of capturing the gorgeous scenery of our venue.

After the ceremony, Heidi was everywhere, capturing some great candid shots during cocktail hour, and we never sensed that she was there. I really appreciated her ability to get great shots without getting in everyone's faces.

Some of my favorite photos are of the toasts, not a place that I had even considered photos. She took some great shots of the people speaking, and got time-lapse type photos of our reactions. Every time I look at those, I get choked up, remembering what was said to get that laugh or tear. They are very special pictures.

I can't recommend Heidi highly enough. I have already been suggesting her to friends. She was fantastic to work with. It was kind of sad to say goodbye to her that night because she was so fun to have around.
