Kelsey, Gabrielle, and the team at Heart and Soil truly made my wedding on August 13th come to life. From the start they were so professional, organized, and communicative. We had several meetings about design direction, and they worked hard to incorporate my requests (like my love for cosmos and dahlias, and my vision to have a more colorful design aesthetic than is usually seen). I was impressed by their commitment to sustainable floral design, including using seasonal flowers and lots of foliage. On top of the beautiful flowers, they provided many of the decor items that made the tablescapes really pop. Finally, Heart and Soil had this large abstract wall art installation that fit in so beautifully at our industrial venue. It was so eye catching and we received many compliments on it. If you can snag Heart and Soil for your wedding, don't hesitate!! 10/10!!

I’m pretty sure conventional wisdom would not necessarily say you need to hire a florist 1.5 years in advance of your wedding. However, when I saw Kelsey’s work on Instagram 1.5 years ago, I was blown away. It was one of the main reasons we decided to book our venue—an admittedly already stunning location in its own right—which we had seen Kelsey and her team transform into the perfect, airy summer dream for a wedding a few years ago. So we booked her immediately, because as my sister the photo producer says— *always* hire the reference. And I cannot begin to describe how obsessed—beyond obsessed, elated, blown out of the freaking water—my now husband (ah!!) and I were when we walked into our reception room (yesterday—an immediate review was warranted). Kelsey and team had NAILED our vision down to every tiny detail. I am an exceedingly detail-oriented person with exceedingly high expectations, and I could never have fathomed how someone could have surpassed all of my wildest dreams like that, but somehow Kelsey did. If you don’t think floral can make or break the feel, vibe, look of your wedding, well, a) you’re wrong, but b) Kelsey will absolutely make you a believer. There are your typical, generic tall ballroom centerpiece type of florists, and then there’s Heart and Soil—where restraint, structure, shape, and space are as impactful as the flowers themselves. Truly one of a kind and so very worthy of being the first vendor you book, even before the trifecta of photo, video, and catering. Run. Don’t. Walk.

With wedding planning during a pandemic, there was an added layer of stress due to juggling this as well as work, family and life obligations. I'm grateful that we had Kelsey as our florist for our wedding. When I met Kelsey, I knew I needed to have her as our florist. Her work is truly impeccable and honestly a work of art. I enjoyed the process of picking our florals for our wedding. Kelsey was so attentive and I love looking at our wedding photos. I also enjoyed the process too. The path of picking the flowers was really fun and on the day, it surpassed anything I had ever imagined. Her work is effortless, classy and just beautiful. Picking a florist was probably the most stressful part of planning a wedding for me. I originally had gone with someone else, but once Covid happened, they were radio silent. I messaged probably half a dozen florist before I met with Kelsey. She was an absolute dream to work with. I’m not a floral expert so I send her some ideas from Pinterest to work with and told her the type of flowers I liked. She sent over a moodboard to make sure it was what we wanted and it was so lovely. The day of the wedding, the arrangement were actually even better than I imagined. I’m so glad we went with Kelsey and her team! Thank you so much for everything!

AMAZING!! Kelsey and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with from the start. I had my wedding at Crested Hen Farms in High Falls, NY. Working in the design/construction industry myself, Kelsey is a real professional and would recommend to anyone. Kelsey understood my vision and brought my dream to life the day of.
