Todd and his team were such a pleasure to work with. Todd was very responsive in communicating with us pre/post wedding and ensuring he incorporated everything we requested. On the day of our wedding, the team was unnoticeable and they managed to perfectly capture all our beautiful moments throughout the day. Todd did an amazing job filming and creating a beautiful short film for our wedding! He is very professional and makes the experience so much fun while also being unobtrusive. The final product was so well done and included all aspects of the wedding that I wanted . The transitions and music accompanied the video perfectly. Not only did they capture great footage, but they were amazing professionals throughout the entire day. They made us feel at ease and suggested great poses and actions that ended up looking great on film. They also used real high quality cameras and accessories to capture amazing images. When my husband and I were looking for a videographer to film our big day at the Montage Kapalua Bay, Maui, we wanted someone who could capture and let us relive our wedding day in its truest form. From the hues/tones and filtering of the video, to the pace and music used to mirror the energy of the day, HVM was spot on and did an amazing job with the editing. Watching the video felt so true to how we remember our wedding day. The footage itself was also excellent - high quality shots with the HD camera as well as with the drone (the drone did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the landscape). We also asked Todd to use his 8mm camera to capture parts of the day. The footage from that camera provided unique, fun, playful, but most importantly, authentic shots of the day which makes us feel even more nostalgic when we rewatch our film. In terms of professionalism, Todd and his team are the best. Before the wedding, Todd took the time to meet with us and listen to what we were envisioning. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and we barely even noticed filming was going on. Todd and his team were also great during post-production and didn't stop working until we were completely satisfied. My husband and I are extremely happy with our wedding video and I know we'll continue to be grateful we chose to work with HVM every time we watch our film for the many years to come!

My wedding was in October, it was a last minute decision to hire HVM due to the fact my grandparents got ill and could not make the flight. We wanted something we could send back home to them so they felt like they were there. I had no idea what to expect when my husband(fiancé at the time) insist we get the drone. On the day of my wedding HVM was so professional. Everyone kept commenting on how they felt this wedding was high end due to the drones flying around. That made us laugh and feel HVM was truly capturing every moment of our wedding. When we received our video, we were thrilled with the results. Uncle joe could NOT have captured our day on his iPhone the way they did! I suggest to all couples getting married to hire HVM because your day goes by so fast and really is a blur! It was a nice treat for my husband and I to be able to see the wedding video from our guest eyes and all the effort of our special day come together. We wouldnt changed a thing and are so glad we booked HVM for our wedding.

We got married on December 8th at The Montage in Kapalua and cannot say enough wonderful things about Hawaii Video Memories. During the planning process they responded quickly to all of my emails and sent us a detailed questionnaire in order to get to know us better.

During the ceremony Todd and Ryssa captured multiple angles and worked hand in hand with our photographer to capture all of the special moments while not getting in each other's way. We also decided to include a drone which all of our guests were talking about for days :). The video footage from the drone really added that unique element that my fiance and I were looking for. Highly recommend including that service.

At the reception they of course captured all of the special moments (grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, toasts, etc). They moved around the room in a manner that made it as if they almost weren't even there which I think is important because no one wants a camera right in their face or blocking other peoples views. Like a lot of weddings, we were behind on our timeline by about an hour. My wife and I both thought that the way they handled this was first class. Instead of interrupting us to tell us that essentially our time was up they just went with the flow of everything and made it all seamless.

As part of my surprise to my now wife I had hired one of her favorite musicians to sing our first dance. We forgot to ask our DJ to record the song so I emailed Todd and asked if by chance he had recorded the audio from the first dance...to which he quickly responded that he had :). He emailed me the audio track which my wife and I will definitely enjoy for many years to come.

Overall, Todd and his team do an outstanding job. They are professional, fun, easy going, very creative, and produce a high quality product. If you are getting married here in Maui I would highly recommend his services!

Hawaii Video Memories are wonderful!! Todd filmed our wedding on Maui in September 2015. He was easy to deal with and has a great sense of humour. He put us both at ease and was very unobtrusive. The video is amazing, exactly what we wanted and more. I really liked that we could make music suggestions, but Todd was more than willing to help with other ideas. The service was wonderful, Todd really went the extra mile - we needed the video in a bit of a rush to share with our friends and family in New Zealand at our wedding reception at home and he got it done on time with no problems (even made a few adjustments for us!!). He was easy to communicate with and always quick to reply to queries. We would highly recommend HVM to anyone and to everyone. Make it easy on yourself book Todd and the team!

We went back and forth on having a videographer but our wedding planner recommended Hawaii Video Memories and we're so happy we chose them! Ryssa and Todd were friendly, professional and most importantly made us feel very comfortable. They captured so many great moments that I would have missed otherwise. I sent a list of song ideas and they did a wonderful job pairing them with different parts of the day. The quality is incredible and we LOVE how our movie turned out. I highly recommend HVM for your cinematography needs.

Todd was responsive via email and phone and easy to work with. The officiant made some comments that we wanted edited out and he assured us that he would make sure the final video would not include these comments. I can't thank him enough for this. He even captured some moments that not everyone was able to see! He was everywhere but never in the way. We would highly recommend Todd and his team and can't wait to see the final product!!
