Harp & Soul drove through the night from South Carolina to Michigan to arrive for my wedding and played beautifully for our ceremony. As a little girl I remembered being at a wedding that had a harpist and that was the beginning of my dream to have one at my own. Our experience with Nichole of Harp and Soul was professional from beginning to end. What we envisioned as a classic, elegant, warm and romantic ceremony, she and her cellist delivered and beyond all expectations. To start, Nichole sent a questionnaire to make sure she knew the bride and groom. She read through the information, researched requested music and crafted out a plan. How wonderful it was in that final meeting to listen on as she took us through the ceremony play list. Thank you Nichole for answering my questions promptly. I also appreciated your contract & payment system. I never had to worry about where we were at with reminders and receipts. Thank you for being flexible so our guest could further enjoy your music during the reception. To hear you both play truly was a soothing and lush experience for all. We absolutely enjoyed having Harp and Soul play at our wedding. We chose the harp and cello duet. It was extremely easy to work with Nichole in determining the songs that we wanted played at our wedding. She has a vast repertoire and was very willing and able to play new songs that she had not heard and she is a very talented sight reader and played new songs for us during our pre-wedding meeting. Throughout our interactions she was very professional and uses very intuitive online resources to organize and orient her customers needs and requests. I was impressed with our entire experience. We had them play fifteen minutes before the ceremony, during the processional, the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and part of the dinner reception. They moved from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor cocktail hour and reception. All of our guests were so excited to see that we had live music and everyone commented on how beautiful their music was. Below is a list of what I selected for certain moments but we also chose a few songs with Nichole’s recommendations for the cocktail hour and other times. Also, Nichole had asked about any specific attire we’d had in mind and we’d said that they could wear anything they like and she checked with us on wedding colors, too.
